Playmobil Pirate Toys Review

I received a sample from Playmobil for the sole purpose of this review

Written by my co-writer Stacy!

My little boys were so excited to open up the Pirate Ship and the Pirate Island. Even my older kids were hovering and asking for a turn. I didn’t research the toys at all before letting my kids play with it, so I was shocked how fast they figured out that cannon shoots water! I love that the palm tree from the island ended up on the pirate ship at some point. My kids know how to pirate in style.

Pirate Island ($14.99) was perfect for my 18 month old. The shape sorting was easy but fun for him, and he loved the turtle. The turtle floats so he can come along on bath time adventures. He had a lot of fun putting things into the treasure cave.

The Pirate Ship ($24.99) was a hit with all the kids in my house (yes I caught my 12 year old playing with it). I love that this toy can come in the bathtub with the kiddo, or even the swimming pool in the summer for extended water fun. This play set even comes with a parrot. My 18 month old was not old enough to put it together, but my 4 year old figured it right out. The ships wheel even turns so that is super cute. There are spots where you can mount the pieces to move them around to be creative. Thats how the palm tree got to hang out on the ship for the maiden voyage.

I’m excited to check out what other great toys I can find from Playmobil for my boys, and I give both of these a 5/5 stars because they really engage the children. No batteries required.
*Disclaimer* I received an item directly from Playmobil in exchange for a review. I was not paid to try out these products*
A big thank you goes out to Playmobil for allowing me to review this product
