I have done a review for Best Bottom in the past. I just love their AI2 system.
They have recently redone the style of their diaper and I was really excited to try it out along with their new print! I received the adorable Hedgehog diaper!

Hedgehog below and my older best bottom (chunky monkey) on top. You can see that the newer style has a higher rise.
Inside. Just a wipeable cover. It has 2 snaps inside where their inserts snap in.

Fits Emerson on the Medium rise setting and with 1 snap in between the wings.
Love their double gusset. It fits babies perfectly.
I LOVE that they made the rise a bit higher. On my old Best Bottoms Emerson is fully opened up on the rise and they are lower rise.
On this one he still has one more snap to go, so it fits him a lot better and I love that they made it a bit bigger.
I didn't think to take a picture of it, but on the smallest setting they are the same size. This is wonderful because they will still fit babies super small.
Emerson started wearing his Best Bottom with a small insert in them around 4 weeks old or so. So these are pretty much from birth to potty training.
You can buy inserts in Small, Medium and Large and you can also buy overnight inserts as well. The Small inserts lasted us until Emerson was about 4 months or so and then we switched to Medium. We still use Medium but I need to buy some large. They also offer Hemp inserts. Mine are all stay dry though where it's microfiber underneath and topped with fleece.
I love the simplicity of this system. I also love that you can easily use prefolds/flats or fitteds with these as well. They're just a cover, but have the wonderful option of adding their specific inserts to them as well.

Price: Covers are $16.95 and inserts are $3.95 for the stay dry and $5.95 for hemp. So a cover and 3 stay dry inserts is $28.80 BUT it's like 3 whole diapers, so it comes to just $9.60 a diaper which is GREAT!! So in the long run it's cheaper than a lot of diapers.
Overall: ***** LOVE Best Bottom diapers and LOVE the changes they've made.
