Emerson

Is definitely a little piggy!
Things are going very well. He never figured out his latch very well, we're still working on it, but it HURTS. He doesn't get the whole area, just the nipple so it hurts big time.

But I'm pumping still. My supply is starting to go down, so I'm trying to pump more frequently, eat oatmeal and drink more water to boost things along. I was getting 6oz per pumping session, so I know my supply is good, I just need to get it back up there. Right now I'm getting about 1oz per session :(

He was weighed at the Dr. Office yesterday (2 days shy of 3 weeks) and he weighs 9lb 3oz! He has gained almost 2 pounds in just under 3 weeks. AND he was born at 19 3/4" long, he's currently 21.5"!! Definitely a growing boy.

Everything else is going good!
Some pictures!

You can totally see the chunk here!
 Silly boy!
Avery is so in love with him. But she's also been acting up a bit too. I don't think it's jealousy, but she just always wants to be around him and sometimes I just want her to leave him alone... So we fight lol!

Cutie! My boy is 2 months old and 3y.o. girl, so very similar in age. My daughter loves him, but the way she has been behaving since he was born makes my hair stand on end sometimes!

My daughter has the same problem, not a good latcher. I use a nipple shield since I have very very sensitive skin. I know I shouldn't use it for more than recommended but I can't get her to latch well. The shield helps get the nipple and most of the areola in her mouth which takes the pain away. You might want to try it.
