Seriously That Hurt

I was doing laundry today and our laundry room isn't that big. I put the laundry Basket on top of the dog cage in the doorway. I'm trying to shimmy through the doorway to throw the lint away and my hip got caught on the door jam (hinge, whatever)
It was HORRIBLE. I bBENT the door jam. I was like "Oh that hurt" and then threw away the lint and that's when I realized how bad it was. I couldn't move, I was hunched over leaning on our dining room chair and grabbing it saying "ow, ow, ow" I started to feel dizzy so I went back to our bathroom where Jon was taking a shower. By the time I got there My vision was pretty much gone. I walked in and said "honey" it was so quiet I'm surprised he heard me. He peeked his head out and realized I was leaning on the tub and when he spoke I realized my ears were ringing and I was losing my hearing as well. I needed to sit down. I tried to sit on the toilet, but instead walked to the bed. Pulled myself up on it and Jon went and got me an ice pack and an etodolac (anti inflammatory)

At that point my vision and hearing had came back. I was in shock! I was crying and couldn't move my leg. It was worse than LABOR! YES worse than labor. It still isn't bad, I have a cut on my hip. But I have internal bruising and I MAY have fractured my hip. I thought I broke it! Jon continued his shower and I had to go to the bathroom so I SLOWLY sat up and got up and I could walk (thank goodness) I was limping, but it wasn't that bad. I sat down and went to the bathroom and I felt fine! A little while later I showered and got ready for the day. Honestly Jon bent the jam back and It took a LOT of force. He's surprised I didn't break my hip as well. He said it took a LOT of pressure to bend it back!
 Here's my Hip
And here's the Hinge from a few different angles
It hit my hip and then I took another step and it went under my hip bone and bent! That's how bad it was!!

Now I have neosporin and gauze on it. It hurts!! I'm limping!
However, that didn't stop me from going to CVS today!!!

So how was your weekend?

Zirimi Review

I love putting Avery in pretty clips and headbands and making her hair all pretty. I love having a girl so I can do these things. She has SO MANY bows and clips and headbands. I've actually made some of her bows and clips. But when I received a Surprise Package from Zirimi I was BLOWN away!
I only specified the Pink and Brown Headband! I was so happy to receive so many things. They're so well put together and are VERY well thought out. I love all these products!
The Pink and Brown Flower Bouquet Headband is felt and is GORGEOUS! It's only $13.99 which I think is AMAZING!
The Blue Crochet Headband is just $12!
The Sillk Flower Clip is $7.99. I think this is a Little expensive, but It does have rhinestones in the middle! Pretty!
Zirimi's hair accessories are cute on the website, but I must admit somehow they are SO MUCH MORE cuter in person.

Zirimi was founded in 2008 by two inspired friends.
The success followed quickly after… after all, nobody could resist us for long.
Ever so cool and hip, Zirimi offers only the best  hair accessories to girls around the world.
Hair clips, headbands, bows…you name it, we do it all.
Be ready to fall in love with Zirimi, made for girls.

Coolil Coupon Codes

A very neat place to buy very unique children's products is Coolil. They have so much to choose from. They have Designer Diaper Bags to Kids Wall Decals. And most definitely everything in between!
Look at this Wish Tree
Or This BOAT!
Told you their stuff is UNIQUE!
About their Heidi Designer Diaper Bag
I had a few ideas about how to design a stylish diaper bag, but first I interviewed young mothers so I could understand what they look for in a diaper bag and what they were missing in the ones they were currently using,” explains Adi. “My vision was to create a bag that was more a mommy bag than just a diaper bag. I wanted to give young mothers a bag that was functional and could be used in several ways when with a baby, but would also be stylish enough to use as a purse when going out without a baby.” Driven by her love for design and aesthetics, Adi took the information she gathered from the interviews back to her studio and created the perfect alternative to a boring diaper bag: The heidi designer diaper bag.
About the Wall Decals
Studio Luka is designed to stimulate the mind and imagination of today’s kids. The decals create scenery that keeps children interacting with their surroundings and encouraging their development through all ages: Infants are able to enjoy the bold images and colors that decorate their room, and as they grow, they begin to recognize the variety of animals and scenes created for them. Piggy Paint Review

Every time I put nail polish on my daughter I have to sit there and blow on it for what seems like forever. It takes forever to dry and then as soon as she gets up and walks around it's chipped... Sound familiar???

Enter Piggy Paint The All natural, Non toxic Nail polish and Remover. And to top it off It's WATER BASED!!
From their Website: Say good-bye to harsh, smelly chemicals and hello to Piggy Paint™…it’s as Natural as Mud!

We just tested out Piggy Paint for this review and It's amazing!!

We tried out the Forever Fancy Piggy Paint and It's a beautiful color. On my daughter's toes it's almost more of a hot pink, but for a 2 yr old that's fantastic!!

So She already had some old polish on her toes and I decided to try the Nail Polish Remover. It had No Harsh smells, and In fact it was Odorless!! It worked like a charm and took off her old polish in No time. It was really a great product. And the best part was that I only used 2 cotton balls and It will last a while!

Then I painted her Piggies with the Forever Fancy polish. I LOVE this nail polish. It also has no harsh smell. It's not runny so I got the excess off and painted away. I was able to do her whole foot on 1 brush full of paint!!! YAY! No re dipping, which also means that this will last a while.  Granted her toenails are Small, but that's not the point, And I know I won't be using HOT PINK nail polish any time soon. So this is all for her.

Now It dried in about a minute time. It was quick, easy, painless and She was up and running within 3 minutes! She loved that it didn't take long, and I loved that it was easy. No mistakes were even made. And she's been running around and there's no chipping involved!! I love that. It's a Very Thick Durable Nail polish!

Another thing I Liked is that when I was using the Polish Remover on Avery It didn't dry out my Hands and nails, like regular polish does. I loved that!!

Price: $8.99 for the nail polish and $8.99 for the Remover as well. These are down from $9.99 for the polish and $10.50 for the remover. It's time to stock up!

Mavea Review

Fresh, clean drinking water. Isn't that what we all want? And we all know that there's some minerals and things in our tap water that we don't need in our system. So that's when we invest in a filtration water pitcher like Mavea.

Mavea was kind enough to send me the Elemaris pitcher in black! This pitcher retails for just $31.99 through Amazon. And the Replacement cartridges are 3 pk $17.95. Brita is the same price in the store. The only difference is these need to be ordered online. That can be a bit stressful, but if you order in advance you'll have no problem being out of a pitcher.

I like the nice sleek design. It's real thin and fits nicely in the packed fridge we have.
It has a meter on top of it which tells you when to change the filter and how much of the filter has been used. It's real neat!
Overall: ****. I would like to see a Pitcher that has a permanent filter. I don't like the idea of spending $18 every 9 months for new filters. But we do what we have to in order to get clean drinking water.

Ella's Kitchen Review

Organic food is the best. How many times have we heard this? It is, but it doesn't fit into everyone's budget, Mine included. So when I had the opportunity to review Ella's Kitchen and get some Organic Fruit and Vegetables into Avery's system I jumped on it.

Ella's Kitchen sent us 6 Stage 1 Baby Foods and 2 Smoothie Fruits. 1 in each flavor. Avery is almost 3, yes I understand. But I didn't see any reason she couldn't eat and slurp these.
And Was I right!! She loves them. She's been getting one a day and she's in love!
Here's how she feels about her Ella's Kitchen Yellow One Smoothie
Must be Yummy huh?

Our pouches are perfect to pop into a handbag or a day bag and can be fed to your baby warm or cold (warmed by simply standing in hot water). They can also be served straight from the pouch, with just a spoon - no bowl necessary. In this way we think that our baby foods are the most convenient baby foods you can buy (as well as the healthiest!) and can be a perfect complement to your own cooked meals if time or location make these difficult to provide. The re-screwable cap allows for safe use for up to 48 hours if refrigerated or a partially used, freshly opened pouch can be frozen in the freezer and used for up to 3 months. However, never feed your baby previously warmed up food.
We only use whole organic fruits and vegetables in our Stage 1 baby food products, never concentrates. Some vegetables may have been frozen, immediately after being harvested, which locks in the freshly picked nutrients and minerals. We also always avoid using concentrates in our products because we want to keep 'processing' down to the minimum required to ensure our product is safe for babies.
In using whole fruits and vegetables instead of concentrates, using ingredients because of their taste and nutritional value rather than because of their price and avoiding adding preservatives or anything artificial, we offer babies pure and simple healthy foods rather than cheap and artificial tasting ones. That's our choice, and we know it is the choice of the vast majority of parents of young babies.

the concept

Our Stage 1 baby food range is a completely different concept in baby food, bring together minimally processed, carefully chosen organic natural fruits and vegetables including many superfoods and extremely convenient and easy packaging.
We looked at what existing baby foods offered, and worked out ways in which we could improve on them in terms of taste, nutrition, fun and ease - while keeping very much to our pure and simple roots. Hence this range offers moms the best of both worlds - pure and simple nutritious food for your babies with homemade tastes and textures, and the convenience of a handy little pouch that makes feeding weaning babies incredibly easy whether at home or out and about.

Ella's Kitchen Smoothie Fruits only contain a blend of whole pureed fruits that have been sieved to take out any insoluble bits (skin, seeds, cores, etc).
We also avoid using concentrates in our products because we want to keep 'processing' down to the minimum required to ensure that the product is safe.

they're organic!

We have sourced all of our fruit from organic farms because we passionately believe that reducing the number of pesticides we put into our children's bodies is a hugely important issue.
We also think that organic fruit is more nutritious and tastes better! If you are looking for reasons for eating organic food, click here to find 10 great ones.

These products are yummy, I've tried them myself. Yum! All natural no added sugars, juices, or concentrates. There's not even Added WATER!!! These are 100% fruit and only 100% fruit! Isn't that great??

Price: The Stage 1 baby foods are $1.79 each at Babies R Us. This is a little pricey for me, but for a once in a while treat I think this is a great price. I would GLADLY feed my infant 3-4 of these a week, but it's a little pricey for every day!
And the Smoothies are $1.39 each.
Overall: ***** There's really nothing more that can be said!

Barefoot Books Review

I love reading, and I love reading to Avery. We read a book every night before bed, and we read randomly throughout the day as well. I'd say we average about 4 books a day. It's always fun to get new books for both her and I. We love exploring a new set of books and it helps bring some variety into her book collection.
So when Barefoot Books sent us 3 (three) books for review I was very EXCITED. I thought we were getting 1 book. When I saw 3 I jumped and WOKE Avery up from her nap. Note to Self- Don't ever do this again!!!

We received Octopus Opposites, Who's In The Garden and The Sounds Around Town. All 3 books are a LITTLE over Avery's age, but I like that because it challenges her. Who's In the Garden is a Board book so I let her read this one by herself, but the Other 2 are paged books so I read these to her instead and they stay on a high shelf the other times.

Here's inside the Octopus Opposites. It's so well Illustrated

The Sounds Around Town is well Illustrated as well.

We are loving these books. They have great store lines and are colorful so they keep a Busy 3 yr olds (almost) attention! I like that!

Explore. Imagine. Create. Connect. Give Back. That’s what Barefoot Books is all about. It’s exploring other cultures, our planet, ourselves. It’s making time for make-believe and letting imaginations run wild and free. Most of all, it’s about using the power of stories to nourish the creative spark in everyone and strengthen connections with family, the global community, and the earth.
Landing_Quote_Wide_OurStory.gif
Barefoot Books began with two mothers who wanted their children to have books that would feed the imagination, while instilling a respect for diversity and a love of the planet. Today, we are a world-wide community of writers, artists, storytellers, musicians, and others who are committed to providing timeless stories and captivating art that can help children become happy, engaged members of a global society.

I'm liking this website and their books alike. I will order from this site again!

Wink Soap Review

I love homemade items dearly. I love supporting moms and other people who work from home. It's more profitable and less stressful than any other job. Yes it can be busy especially if doing it yourself, but there's no commute which is Better for the environment and cheaper!
That being said I especially LOVE homemade soap like that at Wink Soap.

Wink Soap was kind enough to send me 2 bars of soap for review. Spellbound and Vanilla Hazelnut. Spellbound is made to mimic Victoria's Secret's Love Spell, and BOY oh BOY did she NAIL it!! It smells so yummy!
They are so creamy and smell so good. I love these soaps. The poppy seeds on top of the Spellbound are a great addition. And the Hazelnuts on top the Vanilla Hazelnut are a great exfoliator.
"Why should I buy handmade soap when I can get more soap for less money at a discount superstore?"
Because the soap you buy from a mass merchandiser is not actually soap at all, but a harsh detergent filled with chemicals and synthetics. Let me explain.
Handmade soap is created by mixing sodium hydroxide with oils and butters warmed to a certain temperature. When these two substances mix together a process called saponification takes place, this is the sodium hydroxide turning the oils and butters into soap. During this process a substance called glycerin is created. Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it attracts water to your skin and keeps it moisturized and supple.
Handmade soap retains all this natural glycerin and deposits it on your skin as you use the soap, along with scrubbing away the dirt and germs, of course. This leaves your skin moisturized afterwards, and moisturized skin looks and feels younger, retards fine line and wrinkles, and is less irritable.
Commerical soap starts out the same way. But instead of using vegetable oils, manufacturers use animal tallow and lard. This is the waxy, white substance you see in blocks at the grocery store. It comes from the fatty areas of butchered livestock. After the sodium hydroxide is mixed with the tallow or lard, all the natural glycerin is removed and sold for use in other high-end products. Then the soap goes through a milling process, where it is first shredded and then chemicals and preservatives are added to make it smell good and to retard mold growth. Then it is re-melted down into the typical bar shape you find in the stores.
This leaves you with not real soap, but a harsh detergent that strips the natural oils from your skin. Ever wonder why you are always reaching for the lotion after washing your hands? Because the “soap” has removed all the natural oils that keep your skin moisturized. Detergents are great for washing dishes or clothes, but not for skin!

I may use coupons and try and save money everywhere I go and on everything I possibly can, but I will never compromise my body again. I will ALWAYS for as long as I live buy homemade soap as opposed to store bought.

I've actually starting making my own soap by going to Hobby Lobby and buying the kits. It's fun and great for children and it's a great learning tool!!

Mineral Basics Review

Again, You all know how much I love mineral makeup. Especially eye shadows. So I was so excited when I got the chance to review for Mineral Basics
They sent me 15 samples to try out and I LOVE them all!!
Some of these are finishing powders which are nice for over your foundation or even as a primer for the eyeshadow. It looks like I have a lot of pinks in there, and I do, but I like more natural eye shadows and colors. There are a couple greens in there and a purple and bronze, but the rest are pretty much pink-ish.

They have Mineral Foundation, Primer Powders, Blemish Skincare and even Handcrafted soap. They have so many products and a lot of choices to make! It's hard too!!

Beginnings:
Mineral Basics began in 2004 as a means to provide all natural cosmetics to people with all skin types and tones across the globe. I personally had dealt with self-esteem-deflating skin issues for most of my life: terrible acne, inflamed skin, oiliness AND dryness, flaky skin, etc. I happily discovered mineral makeup and began manufacturing my own brand. I simply could not find the exact formula I wanted in a foundation, so I had to make my own.
From our beginnings on eBay, we then quickly had our retail site built and expanded into wholesale sales soon thereafter. I love the thought that others are being helped like me… that we no longer have to suffer with awful skin. We can feel lovely and confident, and know that with our skin looking fabulous, we have one less thing to worry about in life. I also enjoy helping others make a living through our wholesale program.
Today:
I fill my days with answering emails, updating products on the website, redesigning the site occasionally, processing orders, creating new products, etc. My favorite thing of all is to create new products. I absolutely love creating.
Each day we make it our mission to provide high-quality, all-natural, unique cosmetics and related items in a timely, friendly manner to uplift and bring joy and confidence to our customers.
Future:
The joy and fulfillment of uplifting others is an on-going goal and will surely carry into the future. We are excited you’ve decided to try our products and I pray they give you as much self-esteem and pure delight as they have me and others who currently enjoy our line. I pray each day you receive compliments on your beautiful skin as you wear our mineral makeup and all-natural skin care.

I really like this company and I'm really liking the shadows and powders.

Price: The samples are just $1.75 each and there's so much in there, they will last a while. The full size shadows are $8.50, but there's quite a bit in there I'm sure!

Overall: ***** With such a great selection and such great products it's a no brainer!

Pur Minerals Review

I love Mineral makeup as you all know! But I REALLY loved Pur Minerals makeup.
I was able to try out the Colour Correcting Foundation Primer. I have Rosacea and Eczema so my face is always red and dry and broke out. This really helped get rid of my redness of my rosacea.
I also got to try the Pout Plumping Lip Gloss in Spiced Barite. It's a little bit orangy for me so I gave it to my mom and she's liking it so far!
I also tried out the Pressed Mineral Eye Shadow in Clay!
Here is my Face BEFORE using the Primer, Fresh out of the shower when my rosacea is flared up most
 After Primer
After Primer and FULL Bare Minerals Makeup routine
Please excuse the need to be plucked eyebrows!
There's not a whole lot of difference, but it's enough that I can leave the house right away and not have to worry about my RED face. Normally I have to wait 20 minutes or so for the redness to go down!

I'm really happy with the Primer as I've already stated. It makes a difference and that's what I need. However, when my eczema is more flared up or my face is more dry, it does accentuate the dryness. The Primer will stick to my flakes more easily and it's noticeable. That's the only downfall though!

The eyeshadow is so natural in color you can't even tall I'm wearing it. But it's a good Primer for under my regular eye shadow and helps make them go on smoother
The lip gloss like I said I gave to my mom, but it went on smoothly and smelled really good too. It wasn't glossy like either, more like a smoother lip stick and stayed on. I couldn't even rub it off that well. Also my mom likes it and says she's gotten a couple compliments on it so far!

Price: Eye Shadow Singles are $14, but they last a LONG TIME! The primer is $31, but same thing. It will last a WHILE. The Glosses are $16.
Overall: **** pretty good products and since they're mineral and all natural I'm happy and willing to pay a little more for them!

Demi Bella Review

Demi Bella is a cute way to let people know how many children you have. You know how you get asked "How many children do you have?" Well now it can be right on your Shirt or Totebag. You can also get your babies birth number on a Tee. So cute!!

I was fortunate to receive the Black Longsleeve V-Neck tee in the Mommy Of 1 Style!
I'm really in love with this tee. It's super soft, the image hasn't worn off and it has withheld a LOT of washings so far. I never get asked how many children I have in public anymore, and I'm super pleased with this tee.
This tee has some good stretch to it. I will say that I normally wear a Small top, but the one I got is a Medium and I should have gone Large. It's FINE, but a little snug for my liking. So they do run small. But it's not too bad

Demi Bella formerly, Lucky Me Tee was first an idea after having my 3rd child. I found when I was out with only my new born, people thought I was a first-time mom. I felt I was always explaining that I was a "Mommy of 3." The day I actually decided to create this company was when I was at my daughter's first cheerleading practice and I heard all of the Mothers asking each other the same questions everyone had always asked me, "Is this your only child?", "How many kids do you have?" That was it! Being a Graphic Designer myself and now a stay at home mom, I decided to design my own shirts. I wanted to create shirts that told your story and made you look good, too. I hope you enjoy them and I hope they save you a little time (all mommys need a little more time).

Price: At $48 for the Longsleeve Tee I reviewed I have to say it's a LITTLE bit on the expensive side, but I am used to buying my tees for under $12 at Target and kohl's!! So maybe that's why. But these are designed by a mommy herself and I have a lot of respect for that. But I would like to see them under $40! Just my opinion.
Overall: **** These are so beautifully designed. I love that they are so cute and chic. I also really like the burnout tees. I also like that they wash well and don't wear off.

Very good company and I hope you order from them!!

Meridane Designs Review

One fine Colorado evening Sally Short was doodling, which is not something she often does. Her thoughts turned to love, as they frequently do, and at that moment she simply wrote “Love is all U need”, with the letters all stacked on top of each other.
That was the beginning of the What U Love Symbol. Sally kept refining this doodle until it formed a beautiful, symmetrical symbol. At the very last minute she added a peace sign because she is an old hippie (ok, lets not use the word 'old'…. lets use ‘original') and sent the design away to be cast in sterling silver.
Sally has always known she was destined to create a powerful symbol that meant something positive for many people - and her time has come!
Once we received the tangible symbol we knew it was awesome, but did not yet recognize how powerful it would come to be. It was not until the family was united during the holidays that we realized the symbol did not just say “Love is all you need” as originally intended. I saw the word “Believe”. How could that B?
It was then we became conscious that the symbol contained even more letters. We started with A,B,C,D…as each letter revealed itself the energy and excitement grew. Each of us helped discover the magic. Lo and behold we managed to find the entire alphabet!
Everybody sees something different... sees what they need to see...all contained within the same symbol.

Isn't that amazing?? I mean really. One little symbol is the ENTIRE alphabet!! How cool is that? I think it's great and awesome!

I received the Peacock Pearl in symbol Necklace and It's BEAUTIFUL

I couldn't get a great picture of it, but this stock photo does it justice. Isn't it GORGEOUS?

I've gotten a couple compliments on it already and have actually got one purchased by a friend of mine! So YAY for it being BEAUTIFUL and selling itself. It truthfully sold itself. She asked where I got it, I told her and told her the meaning behind it and She purchased it.

It really is beautiful.

At $72 I think it is a LITTLE steep, but it's so pretty it's worth the little extra
overall: ***** very beautiful and durable. It's well put together and VERY well thought out! Good Job Meridane and Sally!

Burt's Bees Review

Most of you have probably heard of this brand, but when I think Burt's Bees I think of lip balm made of all natural Beeswax. Isn't that what you think of? BOY was I wrong! I mean they carry that, but they also carry so much more!I love Burt's Bees I always have loved their Lip Balm, but Now I'm in love with a few other products!
They were kind enough to send me the Baby Bee Buttermilk Bath Pint, Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion, Baby Bee Nourishing Baby Oil, Healthy Healing Carrot Body Lotion, and the Beeswax Lip Balm in the tin! I'm so happy with ALL of these products
Love, Love, Love the Buttermilk bath soak. It's amazing! I added it to Avery's bath three times so far and it makes her bath nice and milky, it smells so yummy and is nice and creamy. I have noticed a difference in her skin since using this product

Along with the Bath Soak we've been using the Buttermilk lotion after every bath as well. These all smell so good. I think a combination of the Bath Soak with the Lotion has made Avery's skin nice and supple and moisturized.

The carrot lotion is different since it is made out of carrots, and it doesn't have the most appetizing smell to it, but it is nice and It's very moisturizing and I've noticed a difference in my hands since using it about 7-8 times already.
The lip balm is great. I can never say anything bad about Burt's Bees Lip balm! It's YUMMY and I love that it's all natural!

And the baby oil I wouldn't know about since Avery dumped it all over the closet right after receiving it. Thank goodness we have a carpet cleaner! It did smell real yummy though!!

Price: All of their products are very reasonable! I find that they are totally worth the price. The Lip Balm I got is $3. The Carrot Lotion is $10, the Bath Soak is $16, but you only use a couple tbsp per bath so it will last a while, the baby lotion is $9 and the baby Oil is $8! AWESOME prices I think!

Overall: ***** Before doing this review I just though Burt's Bees did Lip Balm and their new Acne System, I had no idea they had such a wide range of products. I'm thoroughly amazed!

9. Would you rather be famous now & forgotten after you die or forgotten now & famous after you die, forever? And why? Famous Now, I'd want people to recognize who I am. I wouldn't want to be dead and then have people recognize me. I want the fame while I'm alive Dammit!

Yes To Cookies Review

Are you or someone you know diabetic? Do you just want to cut out sugar? Are you giving up sugar for lent? If so Yes To Cookies is for you! They are sugar free cookies. You can have cookies again!

I was sent one tub of each of the 2 flavors and tried them out. I particularly didn't care for them, but that's because I LOVE my sugar and don't have to cut it out of my diet. So I didn't care for them, but Avery loved them, and She still eats them. I don't mind giving her one a day after dinner because they are sugar free!!
Yes! To Cookies
per serving:
ZERO grams of digestible carbohydrates
ZERO grams of starch

ZERO grams of sugar

ZERO net carbs

ZERO glycemic index (GI)

(Oatmeal Cookies GI=55, one of the lowest GI cookies)
PLUS 7 grams of health FIBER
(as much as 3 cups of broccoli)

Pretty good if you ask me! Although I didn't like them, if you have cut sugar out of your diet, you will enjoy being able to eat cookies again.

DownEast Basics Review

I've already done a lovely Review on this company! They were kind enough to let me check out their new spring arrivals early on before they even went on sale! So I chose the Heart Throb Short and the Hot To Trot Skirt although I was supposed to receive the Spring skirt, They sent me the Fall! I'm okay with that though!

The Shorts are a size 4. My normal size, and they fit with a little back gap. But based on my 36" hips I should've been a Medium skirt. Well it's hard to tell but that skirt is almost TWICE the size of those shorts and I could've fit 2 of me in a size Medium. So I sent it back and they sent me the X-Small and It fits perfectly. Now according to their site I should have a 28" waist for the X-small.
Umm yeah when I was 10!!! That's tiny!
Oh well, Problem fixed.
I love the shorts before they come to just above the knee, same as the skirt, so they don't show too much, but are still flattering enough!

Price: The shorts are $35 and the skirt is $45. I think these are good prices for GREAT quality clothes. I haven't had a problem with these or my other review items. I love the quality and their items are Stunning!

Overall: Another ***** Can't beat DownEast basics

Blush Undershirt Review

I love the look of layering, I also have a bit of butt crack showing once in a while. At that point I like to layer with shirts, But sometimes that extra shirt underneath is a bit bulky, and usually makes my shoulders look big and some other bunching issues. Well that's when the Blush Topless Undershirt comes in handy!
It is a great layering tool. It only comes up to about your bra. It comes up higher then the other contenders and so it's great with button up shirts.

I received the White Blush Undershirt!
I truly am in love! It's awesome for layering under tees, Just when you don't want your crack to show. Or even for some extra warmth in these cold days!

What I really like about it is it's so lightweight you don't know it's there and that it doesn't roll down. A great feature.

Softlips Review

I'm addicted to lip balm and that's not a lie. In my nightstand alone I have close to 30 tubes. Seriously. I can't believe I just admitted to that. I also have one in every purse, So 4. And I have one in each vehicle so 2 more and I also have a couple in the drawer by my computer so let's say 2 more. That's 38 tubes of lip balm. I'm sure there's a few unaccounted for. PLUS When Softlips sent me a few of their new flavors I have added to the collection. So let's make that 45 lip balms in my house right now (and cars) OMG! I need an intervention I swear!

I apply lip balm about 8 times a day. When I wake up and when I go to bed for sure, Which is why they're all in my nightstand. And then sporadically throughout the day as well.
WOW! I'm in love. They are so soft and smooth, go on nicely, and really work! My lips feel like butter!
These are their new Winter Edition flavors. And they're YUMMY. My favorites are Sugar and Spice and Sugar Plum Berry! Yum!!
Softlips has also recently come out with organic lip balms as well as tinted lip balms! They have a wonderful selection and something to suit everyone! I suggest you check them out and buy something! Products are truly amazing!

This winter don’t let the cold air damage your lips. Protect your pucker with the new limited editions flavors of Softlips® lip conditioners–  new Sugar & Spice and new Sugar Plum Berry.

The seasonal flavors help protect lips from the sun with SPF 20 and have the same great moisturizing properties as Softlips’ other popular flavors. Each winter flavor comes paired with a complimentary Softlips® favorite lip balm:
