  3. It is so much greener and healthier to be able to use natural ingredients. So much of what we intake is full of so many chemicals! No one knows what the long term effects of these will be for our children.

  5. I have to wait to go to the store, but I am making the master tonic. Do you take it daily, or just when sick? It sounds "ripe" so I am unsure if I can mask it in smoothies like I do Echinacea, ginger and garlic...hmm

  10. My husband and I have started to live a more organic, natural life. I feel much better when I am feeding my body better foods and when I am not using other toxic products. I am very interested in trying the elderberry syrup. I could pick some up next weekend! Thanks!

  16. When I was a kid, we made a tea from elderberry flowers to put on the face for acne. It worked well. I am a huge fan of natural remedies, (we love jewelweed, aka touch me not around here for poison ivy!). Thanks for the recipes!

  22. Great recipes here! I wish I had the natural nipple butter when I was preparing to nurse, when I was pregnant. I used A&D Ointment, but I think this would have been way better. Thanks for a great post, some new young mothers will helped by this, I know! scain54(at)aol(dot)com

The last time my stomach was upset, I took about a half teaspoon of baking soda with a glass of water like my mom told me, and I felt fine almost immediately. No artificial colors, no preservatives, just a simple treatment that's been tried and tested for eons.

  75. I have Asthma and Eczema. I am sensitive to chemicals & smells. I make my own soap, I prefer mine to store bought. It looks funky because I put oatmeal in mine, but it lathers well, and is very soothing and moisturizing to my skin. I would love to make the Eczema cream, thank you for the recipe!

  94. I never believed in Natural Ways to cure/help the body till I meet my hubby...his mom is Natural herbalist (not weed..lol) and OMG the stuff she has showed me is totally crazy good. I'm still learning but right now my go to is coconut oil and Aloe.
