The 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road is absolutely perfect for anyone wanting a smaller pickup truck. This was the 2nd pickup that I've test drove and I was OBSESSED with this Quicksand gorgeousness!
The 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road gets an MPG of 18/23 and averages 20. Yes this is isn't great, however for a pickup? This is actually pretty darn good! And the smooth ride you'll get from the truck will be so worth it!
This vehicle fit in perfectly with my lifestyle. I LOVE trucks, but this being on the smaller side was perfect for me, and all my kids (10, 6 and 4) fit in the back seat without issue, and that included a booster seat and 5 pt harness as well. I loved that we all fit comfortably and I was able to carry around what I needed to with the bed!

The bed of the truck was very large as well and I LOVED that this one came equipped with a bed cover since it was snowy.
This vehicle definitely has it all in style and comfort. And also in safety. It is a 4 star rating on Frontal Crash and 5 star on side crash, 4 star rollover and a 4 star rating overall from the NHTSA.
This includes the Standard Toyota Safety Sense which has a Pre Collision System as well as pedestrian detection, and it had my favorite feature, the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, if your cruise control is set to a certain speed and the car in front of you is going slower, it automatically slows you to match their speed (and keep a reasonable distance between you). I never have to touch my accelerator/brake on the highway due to this feature.

This vehicle that I test drove came in at $40,617. It is a bit pricey, but for having the crash rating it does, I think it's definitely worth it. The Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road also has a base price of $33,150.
Overall I highly recommend the Tacoma!
