I received a sample from Anker for the sole purpose of this review
I've known for a while now I've needed a portable charger, one that would withstand 3-4 full charges on a single charge. I go to blog events often and am gone all day, well at these events I take pictures and use social media from my phone. These drain a battery VERY fast and some locations have outlets you can sit and charge at, but most the time I'm on the go and don't have time to sit and charge up. I knew Anker was a leader in their PowerCore portable chargers so I decided to contact them!
I also wanted a speaker for my new home. So Tyler was super generous and sent along a PowerCore II 10000 Charger as well as a SoundCore 2 Bluetooth Speaker
I was attending the NAIAS (Detroit Auto Show) in January and I knew this PowerCore would be perfect for this event. So I charged it up a couple nights beforehand and packed it in my bag when I left that morning.
Day 1 of the NAIAS was about an 8 hour day, so nothing spectacular, but I did have to plug-in just once for about an hour.
Day 2 however was around 13 hours and myself AND a few other people were able to use my PowerCore and charge up their phones!
And since it charges so fast, we were able to get a few phones charged up in a short amount of time, preserving the PowerCore's Battery!

As for the SoundCore 2. It has 24 hr playtime AND a 66 foot bluetooth range! This is perfect for in my home as it's tiny, so I can set up the speaker anywhere and listen throughout my entire home.
I love this little speaker, it's tiny, but packs a punch. It's also VERY inexpensive and typically in my experience, cheap means distorted sound and static. But not with Anker, to me the sound is PERFECTION and at this cheap price, I was BLOWN AWAY!
Both devices are very easy to charge and to use. I've been using them constantly since receiving them and I have to say I'm hooked! I love that the PowerCore comes with it's own storage bag, perfect for traveling it around. And they both come with their own charging cable.
Price: The PowerCore 10000 is $29.99 and the SoundCore 2 is $25.99, yes you read right $26 for an incredible speaker!
Overall: ***** hands down! Both have saved me numerous times!
