Dirty Dunk Review

I received an item from The Dunk Collection for the sole purpose of this review

My Assistant Blogger, Stacy, had the chance of reviewing this Dirty Dunk! This is her Review!

The Dirty Dunk has completely changed the way my kids clean their rooms. Because of the way my doors open and close I chose to mount the Dirty Dunk on the outside of the Kids Bathroom. You need to make sure you put it on a door in way that you will not be hitting a wall with the hoop. I like that the Dirty Dunk doesn't require screwing into the wall or door, and it hasn't scuffed my door! I empty the Dirty Dunk every night into a regular hamper so extra weight isn't on the hoop all night every night.

Jaxx Beanbags for Kids

I received a sample from Jaxx Beanbags for the sole purpose of this review

Jaxx Beanbags are proudly made in the USA, in Atlanta Georgia.
We have been eyeing a beanbag for a long time, but never pulled the trigger because with 3 kids and 2 cats I was afraid it just wouldn't hold up. Never owning one before we weren't sure of the durability they upheld. So I was excited to be contacted y Jaxx and review a kids beanbag.

I gave them 2 I was interested in as my options, both were 4', the lounger and cocoon. I got a different 4' beanbag and it's not on their website, so I'm guessing overstock. It is an adult beanbag, but everybody in the family can enjoy it, due to its generous size.

Dear Parent, Shopping for School Supplies

Dear Parent, Shopping for school Supplies.

I see you complaining about the school supplies our children NEED. I see you scoffing about buying supplies because you don't think YOUR child will need/use them.
These teachers put these lists together for a reason. They've put these lists together because these are things they've needed to purchase, out of their own pocket in years past. So they add them to the list in hopes that parents can just HELP pitch in a small fund for their children's education.

It's that time of the year again and now that I'm having to get school supplies for Avery's 4th grade of school, I want her to have everything that she needs. She needs those crayons because she'll get to use her imagination in the wildest way possible and draw to her heart's content and work on school projects. Her teacher needs that cardstock. It will be coming home printed with resources for us to help support our daughter and make 4th grade as easy as possible.

This Week I Started the Keto Diet, Week 1 Results

Week 1 of the Keto Diet is behind me. Here are the things I discovered and had happen during the past week.

If you're not familiar with Keto, the cliffsnotes are that it is a Low Carb, High Fat and Moderate Protein diet. However, I have been weight lifting and so I did high protein and moderate fat instead.

The point is that your body stops eating sugar that you consume through carbohydrates and it starts using fat for fuel, in turn making you lose weight.

I set out to do 35g of NET carbs (carbs minus fiber to get NET carbs), 100g of fat and my regular 150g+ of protein.

More Love, Less HATE!

Just stop. Stop playing sides. Stop acting like one life is worth more than another.
Stop acting like race isn't an issue in this country.
Stop pretending like the color of your skin doesn't hinder/help you.
Stop saying that it matters what bathroom a person uses.
Stop being blind to the propaganda shoved down your throat every day.
Stop saying that a cop "deserves" anything but respect.
Just STOP!
Stop and look at your family, your neighbor, your co-worker. Look at your community. Look at your city.
There needs to be justice on ALL sides of the house. Do I think more justice will be brought for the victims in Dallas? Yes, of course. Police officers have a voice. Do I think the same of Louisiana or Minnesota? No. Because people are already saying that for some reason these men, their communities, their families - they don't deserve the same voice.
Just STOP. These are all senseless acts of violence. SENSELESS.
Be better than that. Help raise the voice of people that can't be heard. Support each other.

Fisher-Price Code-a-pillar Kids #TechToys

I received a product directly from Best Buy for the sole purpose of this review
The brand new Fisher-Price - Think & Learn Code-a-pillar™  has been an absolute blast for my kids to play with. Designed for ages 3-6 this is the perfect toddler toy.

The code-a-pillar comes with a light up/talking head, 8 fun pieces to change his path and 2 pads so you can see if he can make it to the stop pad.

There are endless combinations on the path he can take and the pieces attach very easily. They are little USB ports and they all connect easily, but it's super easy to take them apart and change his path.

Michigan's Adventure is Celebrating their 60th Anniversary!

I received complimentary tickets to Michigan's Adventure in order to facilitate this review

Michigan's Adventure is celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year. We had the chance to go last weekend and it was a fun family affair for everyone. Located in Muskegon Michigan it is only miles from the beach and Lake Michigan. This was about a 3.5 hour drive from us.

Summer Swim Survival Kit Must Haves & GIVEAWAY

I was compensated to write this post. Sponsored by Huggies® Little Swimmers®

On this Fourth of July weekend, many families may be preparing for some summer water fun, whether it be running through backyard sprinklers, going to a water park or visiting the beach. I want to make sure you are prepared with these Summer Swim Survival Kit must-haves:

·         Proper Eyewear: Protect children’s eyes from excessive chlorine and chemicals by buying kid-sized goggles. When the kids are ready to take a break from the water, protect their eyes from the sun’s bright rays with sunglasses. Parents should keep a couple sets of replacement lenses in the pool bag just in case someone’s shades get cracked or scratched during a trip.

·         Pack the Right Swimwear: Huggies® Little Swimmers®disposable swimpants are made for worry-free water play. The easy-open sides make changes a breeze, so everyone can get back to having fun in the sun. Plus, they now have new Finding Dory designs your little fish will love!

·         Sunscreen: The sun will be out in full force for the summer and that means parents need to protect children’s skin when they are outside. The higher the better when it comes to SPF levels and remember to reapply regularly!

·         First Aid Kit: Parents should not forget a basic first aid kit. Include plenty of waterproof Band-Aids, antibiotic ointment, children’s pain reliever, ear drops and bug spray.

·         Towels and Water Bottles: Don't forget to pack the towels and water bottles. Very important to keep hydrated when out in that sun all day and the towels are perfect for drying off and warming up.

You can find Huggies® Little Swimmers®  in Grocery Stores and mass retailers nationwide. Available in three sizes, Size Small (16-26lb) through Large (over 33 pounds). Suggested Retail Price starting at $9.99 per pack.

One reader is going to get the chance to win 1 pack of Finding Dory Little Swimmers and 1 Finding Dory Clutch N' Clean Wipes
