Mum+Bub is Aden+Anais' skin care line!
I didn't even know they came out with a skin care line. One day I was browsing the site to see what was new and I stumbled across it. I knew I had to contact them and get stuff for review!!!
I received the Full Size Soothing Ointment and a Sample size of their Hair and Body Wash
I LOVED this ointment. First of all I want to say that these smell AMAZING. Both products contain the pawpaw fruit. And they both smell VERY fruity.
The Ointment has 50% fresh fermented pawpaw fruit per gram of ointment with a light vanilla scent. So it's very fruity and vanilla. Just smells awesome.
The ointment is great for wind burn, diaper rash, chapped skin and even chapped lips. It's also good for minor cuts and insect bites as well.
I was using the ointment on Emerson's cradle cap and it did wonders. His cap wasn't that bad, but it was bad enough that I wanted to treat it. So I would rub this on his head at night. Let him sleep with it on and then bathe him in the morning and it significantly cleared it up. Of course it came back over time, but this made it look at least 50% better. It cleared it up significantly.
His cradle cap is still here a little bit, but not enough that I want to treat it. It's okay now.
The Shampoo and Wash was amazing as well. The same great smell. I was able to get 2 baths out of it. It lathered nicely and rinsed away completely leaving that nice clean feeling on Emerson. It also left a lingering scent which I love.
These are strongly scented, but not enough to hurt your nose. It's just a nice calming scent.
In this line they also carry an Ultra Gentle Lotion and the ointment also comes in a 3oz tube, which is great for the diaper bag.
They are all free of parabens, petroleum oils, phthalates, artificial colors, gluten & soy and many others as well. They're pretty natural!
I don't know if the ointment is cloth diaper safe though...
Price: The 6oz ointment is $28.95 but it will last a LONG time. A 12oz hair+body wash is $15.95.
