Bras that Will Boost Your Confidence as a New Mom

Your breasts are one of the areas of your body that’s going to undergo dramatic changes throughout pregnancy and the months after your baby is born. They’ll get heavier, larger and denser as you get closer to your due date, and you will even see a difference in your nipples. You’re almost certainly going to need new bras to accommodate these changes during and after pregnancy.

Getting bras that are designed with comfort and adaptability in mind is what you need to think about. It’s also nice if you can get a bra that is going to give you a little confidence boost too. So, here we are going to look at some different bras that could do you the world of good as a new mom. You deserve a treat, after all!

A Sexy New Bra

After pregnancy and giving birth, very few people are left feeling sexy. However, you can change that! What materials and styles make you feel sexy? By getting yourself one or two sexy bras that will lift and support your breasts, fit you perfectly, and look amazing, you’ll be given a real confidence boost. This could even inject some passion into your relationship if you’re in one.

The best thing about a sexy bra though, is how it can make you feel good about yourself when you look in the mirror. Think luxurious silk, lace, or even mesh. Now, these won’t be the most practical for you to wear all the time, especially if you’re breastfeeding, as they aren’t likely to be milk-proof, but you can put them on every once in a while when you want to impress!

That being said, what makes you feel sexy might simply be a nice, comfy push up bra - it doesn’t necessarily have to be anything fancy. As long as it fits well, gives you the support you need, and you like the look of it, this should be enough to give you a little confidence boost.

Nursing Bra

One thing that will certainly make you feel safe and secure in your underwear is a nursing bra that you can wear throughout the first few months of your baby’s life when they will need regular feeds. They have handy drop down cups so your baby can have access to your nipple whenever needs be. Often you can easily take the cup down with just one hand, so it’s nice and straightforward if you are holding your baby. These will give you a confidence boost as you’ll always have peace of mind that if you need to, even when out and about, you’ll be able to quickly and easily feed your baby when they are hungry.

Sports Bra

If you want to get back into doing some gentle exercise after giving birth, a new sports bra is what you’ll need. As your breasts will be more sensitive, you’re best off looking at ones specifically designed for maternity or postpartum. Don’t let your boobs get in the way of your fitness!
