My kids have always been super interested in sharks and these books did not disappoint. National Geographic never disappoints us to begin with. These books are full of age appropriate information about sharks and my kids are OBSESSED with learning about them.

My kids adults, but I would give these books to my niece who is 5 and to my nephew who is 10 years old. This would be a nice Christmas gift.
