How to Find the Healthiest Dog Breed

It is believed that a dog is man's best friend. Since they are the most popular pets that exist anywhere, you probably have one yourself. We can't argue with the fact that they are one of the most popular animals in the world. They may be messy, but also adorable.

These cute fur babies are very playful most of the time. They can make any person fall in love with them in a heartbeat. While you're reading this, you probably thought about your furry friend as well. Or maybe you are thinking of getting one. Either way, you want a pet at home. Although, it might be a little hard when it comes to choosing one. Luckily, you picked the right article.

In choosing a pet, you'd want it to be compatible with you. Why? The two of you should get along, or there's no point in having that kind of best friend. A pet can ease the loneliness you may feel sometimes. They can be extremely helpful. They may even help with your mental health.

Anyways, a dog is a lovable animal. Some may see them as annoying. But as a dog lover like yourself, you find them very adorable. Some people may prefer cats, hamsters, or any of the sort. But today, we're here to talk about the fur babies we love!

All of us would agree that taking care of our fur baby should be one of our priorities. But did you know that choosing a healthy dog breed helps a lot? I hate to break it to you but they won't be around
very long. Choosing a good breed is important. Check out this link! https://www.petmd.com/dog/slideshows/breeds/10-healthiest-dog-breeds?view_all=1

As far as I know, most of us would care less about breeds. Any dog is worth our love and care. But there's nothing wrong with wanting one that would be by your side for as long as possible, right? It's hard to say goodbye to our precious furry friend. You can avoid all that sadness and spend more time with it if you choose the best one!

How Do You Know If A Dog Is Healthy?
Consistent Weight
Weight matters when it comes to our dogs. It should be consistent. When their weight changes from time to time, that is probably not a good sign. Make sure to feed it regularly at scheduled times. That way, they'd be healthy and active. It's important to feed your dog properly and not just a few scraps. They also need nutrition. That's what you should take into consideration.

Fresh Breath
You may have heard this from a lot of people already. Well, they're right. This is another way of identifying a healthy pet. Just like they say, a mouth means a healthy dog. Bad breath may be the start of a health problem. This could be the cause of a poor diet, dental issues, and so on.

Shiny Coat
Your dog is considered clean when their coat is shiny. Research says that it is because of the frequent shedding and natural oils that it produces. Grooming and brushing the fur of your little friend is also a way of making it shiny. Using a soft-bristled brush means it would remove some of the dirt. Leaving your pet's fur soft and clean. A healthy dog must have a shiny coat!

Regular Bowel Movements
We can all agree that our pet is healthy when it has regular bowel movements. Just like us, we tend to doubt if we're eating right or drinking enough water. This is one of the most important things to observe. We don't know what's going on inside our stomach, well, neither do they.

Having regular bowel movements is one of the things that tells us we're eating right. It would cause a big problem if they don't go potty regularly. All those toxins need to come out after some time, right? When it comes to healthy dog breeds, you should take a look at this website and other similar resources. Be a responsible pet owner by knowing which breed will suit your home environment.

There are a variety of breeds out there. You'll know if it's the one you've been searching for when you choose it in a heartbeat. Trust me, one special fur baby will catch your attention. It won't be that hard anymore since you know what a healthy canine looks and smells like!

A great blogpost! I think people should also pay attention to the parasite checkups before choosing/adopting/buying a dog, especially for heartworms. While it is easy to prevent it using Heartgard or Trifexis (which people can conveniently buy from online pet stores like petcarerx), curing it is one of the most difficult treatments for a dog. It is also quite expensive.
