2019 North American International Auto Show with A Girls Guide to Cars

This post is sponsored by A Girl's Guide to Cars and I was compensated to write. However, all opinions in this post are 100% my own.

I'm so glad to be a part of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) again this year, 2019. I'm always so excited to cover this event. Not only am I a car lover, but I love getting together with some of my favorite blogger friends and love seeing women covering this particular event. In an industry mostly targeted to men, and men are usually the enthusiasts, I'm so glad to be with a bunch of wonderful women that are as passionate about cars as I am.

This post is about some of my favorite things I saw and discovered at the NAIAS. Some new vehicles, some new technology and some auto news is at the end as well.

Speaking of the end, stick around for a surprise at the VERY end of this article ;)

CADILLAC XT6
This is right between the newer XT5 and the Escalade. It's a 3 row vehicle that is AWD so can have a smaller impact. It's basically an Escalade on a smaller chassis.
So if you need more seating than the XT5, but a better price than the Escalade, the XT6 is where it's at.

TOYOTA RAV4 and SUPRA
The new Toyota Rav4 is GORGEOUS!!! and the Supra is their newest sports car. This reminds me of a Mazda Miata, which I have tested and have LOVED!

JEEP GLADIATOR
LOVING this new change. Way to go JEEP!

CHEVROLET BLAZER and NEW CAMARO COLOR: SHOCK
The new Blazer is so attractive and sleek. I'd drive this in a heartbeat. But that Camaro color?!?! HOLY COW!!! It's more of an electric yellow, with a hint of green, but it's to die for!

LEXUS RCF and LC (concept) CONVERTIBLE

KIA TELLURIDE
UMMMM!! Kia has a brand new 2 or 3 row SUV and I'm living for it!! It has many different models/styles and is truly meant for everyone. Personally, I'd grab a 3 row, but some off roaders would go for the 2 row rugged style. Should be available in the spring of 2019, it is a 2020 model, and I can't wait to see the pricing on this.

FORD EXPLORER and SHELBY 500
Explorer has an ST, Police Interceptor and for the first time ever a Hybrid model!! And the new Shelby 500 is out (how I didn't take a pic of my favorite car, in the history of ever, is beyond me).

ACURA RDX
Gorgeous little crossover! And this color is amazing!

If you're heading to the NAIAS this year, I highly recommend you stop at FORD, they always have my favorite set up, and this year they have a fun ropes course!

Next would be the Telluride exhibit, which is on the back wall next to Toyota.

Some fun stuff this year!

THE BIGGEST CHANGE next year is the NAIAS will be moved to JUNE 2020!! YES!! A nice Summer event instead of the cold winter. They will utilize COBO Hall as well as outside and Hart Plaza! This ties in with the Grand Prix and Detroit Fireworks as well! It's right between the 2. Perfect for staying a few days and enjoying what Detroit has to offer!

Overall, I had a lot of fun at the Auto Show this year!

The 2019 NAIAS showcased several exciting new cars and trucks, including the Toyota Supra, Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, Chevrolet Corvette C8, Rivian R1T, and Jeep Gladiator. The Toyota Supra, a joint venture between Toyota and BMW, returns after a 17-year hiatus with a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine producing 335 horsepower. The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is the most powerful Mustang ever made with a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine producing over 700 horsepower. The Chevrolet Corvette C8 is the first mid-engine Corvette in history, powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 495 horsepower. The Rivian R1T is an all-electric pickup truck designed to compete with the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado. The Jeep Gladiator is a midsize pickup truck based on the Wrangler SUV with off-road features and creature comforts.motorcycle accident lawyer near me
