The Toyota Camry has quickly become one of my favorite vehicles to drive. In fact, my husband was in the market for a new car earlier this year and the Camry was on his top 3 list, we both loved the one we tested last year and that's the reason he was considering purchasing. This new 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE was no exception. We fell in love with Camry all over again.
With an MPG of 40 city 37 highway for the hybrid, this car is perfect for all your driving needs.
The non hybrid MPG is 24/33.
I love the sleek look of everything in the Camry, it's very well designed and laid out and makes everything super easy to navigate.
When you're going on a quick trip and won't be accelerating often, the EV mode is for you, this is the Electric Vehicle mode and will mostly use the battery power to give you the best gas mileage possible.
Eco Mode helps you accelerate slowly and smoothly, to also help you achieve the best possible MPG. This is ideal for the city where you're stopping and going often.
Center Console storage was actually pretty large and deep.
The Camry has amazing leg room!
The trunk on the Camry was different than what I've ever seen before, instead of the typical 60/40 split for the seats to come down, the Camry Hybrid only had one side pop down. This still works for those needing a little more room in the trunk and you can easily put something long through that slot. It was just different.
Back seat cup holder and storage behind center console.
The Safety of the Toyota Camry is like no other. Featuring 10 airbags, Driver and Front Passenger Whiplash-Injury-Lessening (WIL) Seats, Energy-absorbing collapsible steering column, Collision Sensors, Safety Connect, Blind Spot Monitoring, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and more!
My favorite is the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, this is what automatically adjusts the vehicle's speed to match that of the car in front of you. Only meant for highways and when the cruise control is set. This means if my Control is set at 70 and the person in front of me is doing 66, my vehicle will be slowed down until that vehicle speeds up or changes lanes. It eliminates the need for braking as often, it helps your gas mileage as well and of course lessens accidents if your car slows down for you. Always be aware of your surroundings and be ready to hit that brake at any given time.
Overall the Camry is amazing!! I fell in love again!
*Disclaimer, I received a Toyota Camry Hybrid SE for a week long test drive. All opinions here are 100% my own and I was not compensated to write this post, other than receiving the vehicle.
