Blueberry Sugar Scrub

Blueberry Sugar Scrub DIY

I love doing things with Blueberries, they are filled with antioxidants and are great for your skin and body!

I've made sugar scrubs in the past and they are AWESOME for sloughing away all the dead skin and moisturizing. I decided to add in some blueberries to make this amazing scrub!

For this recipe, you need just 3 ingredients!! Yes 3. And all of them can be easily found (you probably already have them in your house). Today we're making a Blueberry Sugar Scrub.

Those 3 ingredients are: Fresh Blueberries, Sugar and Olive Oil

I then mashed the Blueberries with a fork. Mash as little or as much as you want, I wanted less skin/pulp so I mashed them quite a bit.

Then mix it all together!

If you find it too runny, add a little more sugar. Mine was at first, so I added a bit more! But now it's perfect.

Little Mason Jars are perfect for storing this type of thing

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 Cup Sugar (I had to use a LITTLE more)
2 tbsp Blueberries
2 tbsp Olive Oil

DIRECTIONS:
Mash up Blueberries in a bowl with fork. Mix in Sugar and Olive Oil.
Put scrub into a small jar. Store in fridge for up to 1 week.

To use, wet down skin in shower and rub on, then rinse completely off. I like to use it on my knees, feet and hands the most as those get the dryest, but it would work just fine for whole body. If you intend to use it all over, I'd double-triple the recipe so it lasts longer.
