2015 Toyota Prius 3

Are you in the marketing for a very energy efficient hybrid car? The 2015 Toyota Prius 3 just might be the car for you. With mileage of 51/48 you are sure to save loads of money each year in gas.

With a base price of just $25,765 the Prius 3 is sure to please and be easy on the wallet. Includes a Smart Key Fob which means a wonderful push start button in the car. Making it easy to leave it in your pocket or purse and still be able to start your car.

Steering mounted power controls
You might notice no dashboard display? Look below!
One thing that surprised me about the Prius is that the display was all up above the stereo in the middle. In the middle of the dashboard. NOT right above the steering wheel!

I kind of liked this feature. The center console was a bit large, so they put this nice storage area underneath it.
Shifter was a little different, but still easy to navigate. Put foot on brake and then pull the knob to the left and then up for reverse or down for drive. The park is an actual button you press. This took a bit of time getting used to.

 Solar roof!
Flip cup holder. Nice for people who store other stuff here and you can cover it up and make the car still look clean.
Lots of leg room really surprised me in the Toyota Prius

Push this button on either side of the back seats to fold the seat fully down

The rear shade in the Toyota Prius 3 is easy to adjust. Just pull it up out of the slots and it rolls back on its own and out of the way.
The trunk with the rear seats up and then down. I was blown away by all the space in the Prius.

Overall I was extremely shocked at the space the Prius provided. Plenty of leg room in the front and back. Lots of storage space in the trunk and the storage in the front was very large too! It was also a very smooth and quiet ride. Even when the engine actually kicked on, it was still quiet and smooth running.

Lets touch base on some of the safety features of the Toyota Prius.
7 Airbags throughout the vehicle.

Prius comes standard with the Star Safety System™, a suite of six advanced safety features that includes enhanced Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), 15 Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) 32 and Smart Stop Technology® (SST).

Pre-Collision System (PCS) 24 employs the vehicle’s radar system to determine if a frontal collision is imminent. If so, the system automatically applies the brakes and retracts the front seatbelts to prepare for such a scenario.

Lane Keep Assist, If the Prius sees you crossing over the line, an audible warning will alert you to stay in your lane. It also uses gentle corrective steering when necessary.

Overall a wonderful little car and I would recommend this vehicle! Although it isn't practical for me right now with 3 small children all still in car seats/boosters, it is definitely a car I would consider in the future! With 15 years under its belt, the Prius is the first efficient hybrid I'd consider.

*Disclaimer, I received a Toyota Prius for a week long test drive. All opinions here are 100% my own and I was not compensated to write this post, other than receiving the vehicle.
