e-cloth Review & Giveaway

I received a sample from e-cloth for the sole purpose of this review

I'm really loving this concept. In trying to become a bit more minimalist and live with less, I looked under my kitchen cabinet and had a wide array of cleaners. Half I never used, 1/4 of them I used a couple times but didn't like them and only a few I regularly used. Besides owning less, I've tried to be more natural in my cleaning products. Products that are near us and our children and pets daily with all their chemicals. I switched to cleaning my windows with vinegar and water about a year ago and it is so streak free, my cat swats at her own reflection.

So when I stumbled across e-cloth, I was definitely intrigued. Cleaning my WHOLE house with ONLY water?? Say what now? Is this for real? I'm being punked right?
But I wasn't being punked... AT ALL!!! This IS for real and I have to show you!

I got the Home Cleaning Set 8pc for review

It comes with 8 of your most popular cloths.
Top row, left to right. 2 polishing cloths, Bathroom and Range/Stovetop
Bottom Row, left to right. Window, stainless steel, Dusting cloth and Kitchen cloth with scrubbie
 Kitchen Scrubbie
Each cloth (besides the polishing) have a tag with their appropriate purpose right on it! No guesswork.

Now, what makes e-cloth so special?
Since they launched in 1995, they have become Europe's No. 1 Chemical Free Cleaning Company. But they didn't start selling in the US until 2008.

e-cloth cloths are made out of microfiber, which is incredibly absorbent. Microfiber attracts moisture and oil and can also cut through smudging, fingerprints, dust, dirt, grease and more. It is truly the most popular cleaning material out there.

So e-cloths absorb all that including germs. They are proven to remove 99% more germs than using plain water.

  • ecloth ® boasts high quality fibers and advanced fabrication that provide unmatched cleaning performance. It’s a combination of two basic fibers, Polyester and Polyamide (a nylon by-product).
  • These fibers are split and formed into a fabric of 80% Polyester (the scrubbing and cleaning fiber), and 20% Polyamide (the absorbing and quick drying fiber).
  • These threads are very small in diameter, making them ideal for cleaning because they possess far more cleaning edges to pick up dirt than any other fabric in the world.
  • Rated in denier (the unit for measuring fineness of fabric) a strand of cotton has a rating of 200. A human hair has a denier of 20 and a strand of silk has a denier of 8. The average microfiber has a denier of 1.0. e-cloth ® fiber has a denier of 0.13.
  • Each fiber is 1/200th the width of a human hair and is split into 16 fiber strands resulting in a standard ecloth ® having an extraordinary 500 million strands per cloth. Not even Norwex comes close to that!
  • e-cloths ® have up to 1.6 MILLION strands per square inch!
  • Unlike conventional cloths, as you draw an ecloth ® across a surface, the fibers clean by breaking up, trapping and absorbing dirt, grease, oil, grime and bacteria from all hard surfaces.
  • The standard ecloth ® is capable of rapidly absorbing up to 7X its weight in water.

AND each cloth is good for up to 300 washes!!!

The following pictures of my stove and window were cleaned with only water and these specialized cloths. That is it!

My stove was wiped up a few days prior but not actually cleaned, hence the streaks.
I wet down the stovetop cloth fully, then squeezed it out and wiped my stove. Then I took the polishing cloth and dried it all up. It was pretty darn clean just using water! I couldn't believe it.

Then I did the back with the stainless steel cloth. It wasn't terribly dirty to begin with, but this wiped it all right up. I even used it on the face of the stoved and it was fine.
Then came my window. Dirty toddler fingers make for a big mess all the time. So the left was my dirty window. Same thing, wet down the cloth, washed the window and then polished it. It came SO clean. Cleaner than vinegar and water hands down.

I can't believe the cleaning power these little cloths have. It is truly crazy how quickly and efficiently they work. Now I want more of them so I can clean my whole house from top to bottom using only water! I will keep 1 disinfectant cleaner on hand, but I'm sure it won't get much use! I'm really really loving these.

Price: The 8pc kit is on sale for $39.99. Normally $63.92.

Overall: ***** hands down!

*Disclaimer* I received an item directly from e-cloth in exchange for a review. I was not paid to try out these products*
A big thank you goes out to e-cloth for allowing me to review this product and for offering a giveaway
