Recipe for Amazing Buttered Noodles

Sometimes you just need good comfort food right? Things that are easy to make, are unhealthy and just feel right in the tummy!

I bring you Amazing Buttered Noodles.

Some people make buttered noodles by boiling the water, adding the noodles, cooking, draining and THEN adding the ingredients, and it's okay, but let me teach you the REAL way to make DELICIOUS buttered noodles that EVERYONE in your house will devour!

The key, is to boil the noodles IN the ingredients!!! Intelligent right? Yeah I think so!

INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 cups water
1/3-1/2 cup chicken broth (start with 1/3 and add more as needed)
1/2 cup butter
8 ounces of your favorite pasta (I used mini farfalle, but egg and macaroni and more are great too)

Bring water, chicken broth and 1/4 cup butter to a boil, add in noodles, cook until noodles are done (about 8 minutes). Add in some chicken broth if needed.
During the last minute or so add in the last 1/4 cup of butter and simmer until most the liquid is gone.

It is so divine! It's even good with a bit of sprinkled parmesan cheese if you like it!

Let me know if you try this dish!! It's so yummy and incredibly versatile. We like it as a side dish with chicken and some vegetables!

I love simple foods like this. I am not one to like heavy sauces. I think I am going to try this.

This is one thing my kids never liked and I couldn't figure out why. Maybe because I never made it with broth? Sounds yummy to me.
