2015 Mitsubishi Outlander

Everybody wants an affordable crossover right? Especially when you have a larger family! Well what about the Mitsubishi Outlander that seats 7 and is under $30,000??

You did hear that right! The 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander starts at just $23,195. SAY WHAT???
YUP!! And it gets 25/31 to the gallon! Too good to be true right? Oh but it's not!!

The Outlander has many features and safety features that are way ahead of it's class, and they pack it all in at that wonderful price point! I promise you this car is just as good as it sounds!

Love that sunroof!

It made the "Top 10 most affordable 3-row vehicles" list by kelley blue book.

I love the Sporty, sleek style to it. It doesn't feel like a family vehicle and has that nice sporty look. Definitely not a 'soccer mom van' and definitely manly enough for a male to drive.

Hard to believe it fits 5 people in the back two rows. But it does!! 2 in the very back, 3 in the middle and then 2 up front of course!
Decent 'trunk' space
Not much room in the third row
BUT with the middle seats moved up more, a full grown adult could easily sit back there.
Good amount of leg room in the middle row. This is with the row all the way back.

Subwoofer!!
More storage in the trunk

Now a few things...
I have 2 car seats, the Mitsubishi Outlander only has LATCH in the middle row. Although you don't need to use LATCH with your car seats, it's easier to get a nice tight install with them. So because of that we can't put the middle row seats down to let someone get to the third row. Having an older child that would have to sit in the third row would make this almost impossible. Unless I put a car seat in the 3rd row and don't use the LATCH. Then I'd have to leave a second row seat down all the time for ease of access to that back row.
A bit of an inconvenience for me.
And that 7 full grown adults could never fit in this car. 4 would be comfortable and 5 would be okay if one was a woman on the shorter end that could pull up the middle row a bit more to allow more leg room in the back row.

Other than that this little crossover is a great vehicle! It is really great for families that travel. It is small, but seats 7 and was a very comfortable ride.

The Mitsubishi Outlander has some top safety features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning system and Forward Collision Mitigation. It's the little things that really count and matter. This means that it senses a vehicle in front of you and will adjust your cruise control accordingly. The Lane Departure alerts you if it senses you going over the lines.

They also offer a 10 year, 100,000 mile powertrain warranty AND a 5 year emergency roadside assistance, unlimited miles!!! FREE roadside assistance for 5 years! How awesome is that??

Overall a really nice vehicle and I would definitely recommend this crossover to anybody who was in the market for a crossover that didn't have a ton of people/kids to tote around!

*Disclaimer, I received a Mitsubishi Outlander for a 1 week test drive. All opinions here are 100% my own and I was not compensated to write this post, other than receiving the vehicle.

This definitely looks like a car for the cool mom! I like the combination of features and styling. Thanks for the full description of interior space...it's so helpful to be able to picture it.

Thanks for the review! We are actually in the market for a new 7 passenger SUV and I am soooo not ready for a mini-van lol. I like the pictures, they help put everything into perspective. Especially the third row pictures. Yours seem more real than the dealer websites!
