In the market for a VERY affordable sedan that gets wonderful gas mileage? The 2014 Kia Forte is all of those things and so so much more.
I accidentally deleted my exterior photos of the car :(
The Kia Forte EX gets an astonishing 24/36 MPG. An average of 28 and that in itself is amazing. It also features a 13.2 gallon tank, so you're not likely to fill up very often even if you drive a lot or have a long commute.
The Kia Forte EX was very sleek looking with it's features.
It had a partial touch screenThe middle of the dash features the time and temperature. This is above the touch screen
Cruise control with steering wheel mounted controls, make driving this car a breeze with everything right at your finger tips.
One wonderful feature was definitely the trunk size. You can easily fit a huge load of groceries in there as well as a stroller and any other necessities you need to carry along with you. It as plenty big and if that wasn't enough you can fold down the 2nd row seat and get even more room.
It also has the rear backup camera display which is a feature that I couldn't live without now that I've been used to it for 2 years.
Although the Kia Forte EX is a very compact sedan, it has a lot of leg room and that totally surprised me.
There are also cupholders in the back row.
Another feature that I really liked was on the sideview mirrors. When you lock the car, the mirrors turn in. This is great for parking lots and in driveways where cars are parked side by side. It's just a nice little feature that isn't normally thought of, but can definitely save you some dings and scratches from those pesky shopping carts.
Overall the Kia Forte EX was a smooth ride and definitely gets you where you need to go. It didn't have all the bells and whistles that my family typically likes though and for that reason we wouldn't purchase it, but it might be the perfect car for someone else with different needs.
The Kia Forte EX has Dual side airbags, Dual front-seat mounted side airbags, full length side curtain airbags, Vehicle Stability Management, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, Impact Absorbing Steering Wheel and more. It's definitely a safe vehicle to drive.
The best part though is definitely the price. The Starting MSRP for the regular Forte is just $15,900.
*Disclaimer, I received a Kia Forte for a 1 week test drive. All opinions here are 100% my own and I was not compensated to write this post, other than receiving the vehicle.

I wish I could review cars! How do you get into that business? :) This seems a lot more spacious than I'd think of a Kia.

this looks like a really nice car. I like that the mirrors turn in. that would be really helpful when you dont have much room where you part and you need to squeeze between cars!

I currently have a Kia Sorrento and love it. Yet, I had not heard of Kia's Forte until now. Wow, a car with this many features and under $16,000. That's something you don't find much of these days. I love that it gets such great gas mileage and is great looking sedan as well.
