Living in Michigan definitely gets cold come winter. Well being that it's MI, it's already been pretty chilly. Especially in the mornings when I take my daughter to the bus stop. This morning it was 35. Thankfully I'm pregnant this year though which helps me stay a bit warmer than normal, but being due in January I'll have a few months of cold left to go. 

I have wanted a Pile Fleece style jacket for a while now and when I came across the Simba Fleece on Free Country, I just knew it would be perfect!

I got it in the Turkis color and it's beautiful!

 Even at 26 weeks, it's a great fit.

I'm 29 weeks now and this jacket still zips and fits beautifully, but it's not so big that it won't fit after the pregnancy either. This is the perfect fall/spring jacket and is even nice enough for the cold of winter as well.

Since it's 2 sided butter pile it retains body heat quite well and is also wind resistant. It's also breathable so you don't get too sweaty in it and the best part is it's machine washable.

There are zippered front pockets too which is great for a phone or keys, and they're also super warm so I keep my hands in them at the bus stop in the morning. 

Overall this jacket is great. It's super soft and warm and the color is gorgeous (it's more green then my pictures show). I've had quite a few compliments on it already. 

I'm in between a size Small and Medium in most garments so I went with the medium and the fit is pretty good. It even fits me over another sweatshirt. 

The Simba also comes in Black and True Blue.

I'm sure this jacket will last me years to come as it's a great, high quality.
