It's not very often that I get an item that gets used daily. 

Emerson has been in a wrap since birth. Truly. He first went into the Boba stretchy wrap at about 3 days old. He's been in it DAILY ever since up until about 4 months old. 

We received a Gauze Woven Wrap from The Wildflower Patch. Ever since we got it he's been in that one daily. 

Up until about 2 weeks ago. It had been 3 days since we used the wrap and then he was extra cranky so I put him in it, then it was another 3 days and so on. It had been 6 days since using it last, but he's actually in our Wildflower Patch wrap RIGHT NOW as I type this!

 I got the size Medium. It's for heights 5'5"-5'9" (I'm 5'6") and/or dress size 0-10. I'm a 4/6. It's 5.5 yards long!
The small is 4.5 yards and the large is 6.5 yards

 He loves it!!!

You see, a woven wraps differently than a stretchy. With a stretchy you tie it on first, but with a woven you tie it around baby. 

So here's how I do it. I find the middle (easy because she has her label in the middle) and then put that over my chest right under my armpits. Then I pull the ends around my back and criss cross them and pull the ends over my shoulders. (So far it's just like a stretchy). THEN I pull Emerson's legs and butt through the middle panel and get him situated. I spread his legs and get enough fabric under his bum. Always have a hand on your baby. 

Then I just grab the 2 tails, cross them over his back, put them under his feet and then tie in the back! It's super easy!!

I originally wanted a woven for back carries. You can't use a stretchy for that purpose. And I'm not even going to lie, I haven't even used this for a back carry as of yet. 

When Emerson falls asleep in the wrap I sit down and get some blogging done. So on my back wouldn't be very smart. BUT this would be wonderful for the zoo or grocery store etc. 

I like it a lot better at this age than the stretchy though, that's for sure. It doesn't sag at all. He stays right where I put him and that's great. 

Last time I wore the stretchy wrap at the grocery store was a DISASTER!! He was all over the place, I had to re tie it twice!!! So from now on I will wear either the Boba Structured OR this wrap because I LOVE it!!
