Mason Jar Cookie Company Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

I came across this wonderful website on another blog and I couldn't wait to contact them and see if they'd be willing to send me one for review too. I was ecstatic when Mason Jar Cookie Company said yes and let me choose which jar I wanted.

This is CUSTOM!! You choose what your base is and what ingredients you want to add to your cookie mix. It is really wonderful!
I chose the oatmeal base. And then I added M&M's, Toffee, and White Chocolate!! You can also add nuts and fruit too.
Came inside a bigger container
The jar was inside. On the top was a sticker with my recipe name!
The toppings were on top first!! YUM
Then was some PACKED in brown sugar. This was after I scraped some away first.
I had to take a knife and stab it and break it into pieces so I could put in the bowl.
 Then sugar
 More packed in brown sugar.
 All put together.
She explained to me that they have to pack the jars REALLY tight to prevent everything from moving around and getting mixed, once brown sugar is exposed to air it tends to harden, so that explained why it did that.
It wasn't so bad, but our cookies had some brown sugar chunks in them. Oh well!!

You take the mix and add Butter and an egg!! Then plop on cookie sheet and bake.

The cookies were a bit crumbly, but oatmeal base tends to do that.

I like that all the ingredients except dairy is right here in this jar. Makes things a bit easier to make your cookies!! They were really yummy too!!

They have 4 bases to choose from. Oatmeal, Traditional, chocolate and peanut butter. Then Between sweets, nuts and fruit you have 39 add ins you can choose from. The price depends on which ones you get... Some are $.99 a piece and some are $2.49 (like apricots) so this will change the price of your jar. You can choose up to 3 add ins like I did!

Price: The bases are $12.99 and then $13.99 for the chocolate. Then you add in your add ins. So 1 jar can come to as much as $21. But most would be right around the $17 range.

Overall: *****
*Disclaimer* I received an item directly from Mason Jar in exchange for a review. I was not paid to try out these products*
A big thank you goes out to Mason Jar for allowing me to review this product and for offering a giveaway

It's so crazy... a few years ago I led a youth group in my area and we basically made these ourselves but sold them for $5!!! what a steal, I should've totally looked up prices! It was for a charity though so no biggie ;D
