Vitafusion Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Everybody knows I'm expecting #2 by now. Along with being pregnant is good nutrition. The first step in that is a good Prenatal Vitamin. I was sent the Vitafusion Prenatal Gummy to try out. You all should also know that I can't swallow pills very well either, and it's hard to find a gummy or chewable that has everything in it that you need.
My Dr. had also just told me that I need a DHA supplement as well since I can't take pills and I was doubling up on Avery's chewables (which don't contain DHA) so I was very thankful to receive these which have the full 800mcgs of Folic Acid in them as well as some DHA too. I was thankful that it had everything I needed in a prenatal in just 2 gummies. I was taking 4-6 of Avery's vitamins!! EEK.
I take these every morning when I first wake up, they taste good (like candy), have a great consistency, and go down smooth.

I have no issues taking them. They are 3 flavors, berry, lemon and cherry. I'm not a cherry fan, but when I take it with a lemon or berry I don't even taste it.

Vitafusion also has a TON of others to choose from. They have Fiber gummies, heart vitamins, multi vitamins and they're ALL GUMMY for adults!! Which I LOVE. I can not take a pill worth nothing.

May is also Pregnancy Awareness month. Founder Anna Getty founded Pregnancy Awareness month in 2008 in order to help expectant mothers and their bodies. So if you're thinking about becoming pregnant or are pregnant the Vitafusion Prenatal Gummies are PERFECT for you. Nutrition starts before conception too.

Price: The Prenatals are $10.79 on sale (regularly $11.99) at Target right now for a 45 day supply. Which if you think about it, you need about 6 bottles to get through your pregnancy. That's pretty cheap I think!!! The regular vitamins are $10.99 on sale too for a 75 day supply.

Overall: ***** Love them. They taste great, are affordable and I like them all around. YUMMY

Almost 9 weeks!

I feel so huge! I really hope this is all bloat and that I'll still be about the same size come 14-15 weeks too! I know starting next week this will all disappear and then at about 12-13 weeks baby will start growing. Since baby's the size of a Green Olive (yum), I know it's all bloat!
I'm starting to round out though and I'm not so pointy anymore!

Voda Swim Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Sponsored by Tomoson.com We're approaching that season! When you go swimming whether it be in your backyard pool or at the beach, it's nice to look as good as possible right?

I received the Teal Envy Push Up Hoop Halter & Hoop Scoop bathing suit from Voda Swim. I LOVE my new bathing suit. I 'ordered' it right before finding out I was pregnant, but I'm glad I chose a Push Up Bikini because I know it will fit me even while I'm pregnant.

No, you do not get to see me in it. SORRY! I know how disappointed you all are :)

I got a Large top as I'm a full 34C and that's the size that was recommended and a Medium on bottom. I normally wear a 4 (according to them a Small) but I have 37" hips, so I got the medium. The bottoms fit me perfectly. The top is hard for me to get adjusted.
I tie it around my neck and tie it around my back, TIGHT and then I have to really adjust to keep the girls in, it really pushes them together and they almost pop out. BUT it fits okay and I'm pretty happy with it overall.
I'm thinking maybe I should have gotten an XL up top as I'm a very full C almost a D and I think it would have had better coverage.

With that in mind. I LOVE this swimsuit. It pushes the girls together nicely and gives me great cleavage. I love the feeling of it, they are true to size (the top size was a mistake on my part) and all around I just love it.

Also on the fit guide I LOVE that it shows how the bottoms all fit and how much they cover. Which is what led me to choose the Hoop Scoop, I like the adjustable scoop fit too. I wanted something that would cover as much as possible! So I'm happy with my choice. I also love the color of the suit I tried.

I haven't had a chance to wear it yet as I can't use the hot tub now and no pools are open yet (except the gym, which I plan on using soon). My friend's pool opens up next week, so hopefully I can use the suit soon!

There are lots of suits to choose from in the Envy Push Up style.
Here are some other favorites.

Want to know something awesome?? They are made right here in the USA!!!

Price: The set I received is $127. I think this is a little pricey, but it is a good quality suit.

Overall: *****

Prefense Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

I use hand sanitizer like crazy. Avery too. I learned through a study one day that sanitizer is more effective then washing your hands. So anytime we use the bathroom or do anything we use sanitizer. It's great while you're sick too.

When I had a chance to try out the Prefense Sanitizer I was so happy. We go through it almost as much as water so it's nice to have more. We got the 1.5 oz Foaming sanitizer to try out.
I love that it's foaming. It's not as messy at a liquid is.

I also love that it's alcohol free, so when Avery sucks her fingers at night I know she's not getting alcohol. It protects you for 24 hours OR 10 hand washings!! YES 10... One squirt in the morning is all I need for all day (of course I use more). But even if I use it 5 times in a day and Avery uses it a few it's not really going anywhere. One pump foams up like crazy and it's hardly using any of the solution at all.

It's silica based so it doesn't dry out your hands.

And the 1.5 oz is good for 120 applications!! Prefense protects against staph, strep, E.coli, drug resistant MRSA strains, and more.

It was really nice to use. Rubs in nicely and isn't sticky, stinky or too wet. It rubs in all the way and is dry very fast.

They also offer an 8oz container which is good for about 636 applications!!!! It would easily last a year! They also carry hand sanitizing wipes!

Price: The 1.5oz is $6.99, 8oz is $16.99. It's a little pricier then others, but the no alcohol is a huge feature and it will last a long time.

Overall: *****

Dora's Garden Gazebo Mega Bloks Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

I received the Lovely Dora's Garden Gazebo from Mega Bloks for review. The review was due by May 9th, but that was Avery's birthday and I wanted to save it until then, so she agreed to let me wait a few days to write the review.

As soon as I got the toy in the mail, I thought the package was small and it certainly couldn't be quite that entertaining. I was wrong! Avery loves it to pieces.

She has an interchangeable skirt which Avery loves. Then there's a table, a planter with sunflower, the gazebo, a tree, a watering pot. The watering pot fits in Dora's hands perfectly. It grips in there so she can really hold it.

So far Avery loves it, it's only been 3 days, but she's played with the set nonstop since she got it. She loves Dora, Dora is her favorite so I knew this would be perfect for her.

It was just now when I went to the Mega Bloks website to find the link for this set that I discovered they have a TON of Dora Sets to choose from. I was offered either this Gazebo set or the Bath Time set. I'm sure she'd have been happy with either, but I liked the Gazebo better!!

They have like 11 sets just from Dora alone to choose from!!! So it's super neat. I just might buy her another set or 2 for Christmas.

Price: The Gazebo and Bath time are $14.99 SO WORTH IT. They also have a few for $9.99 and some for a little more as well. They have a nursery for $20, Playtime Adventure for $30. All worth it though I'm sure.

Overall: ***** Getting lots of use and keeping her entertained.

Zoey's Attic Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

I have had this website bookmarked for over 6 months now. I knew we'd be trying eventually for another baby and I knew that as soon as I found out I was pregnant I would be contacting Zoey's Attic. I love all of her shirts, but her Big Sister To Be shirts are what I had my eye on.

The day after I found out I was pregnant I contacted her. She was so happy to send me a shirt and she went to work.
I told her to send either the Pink Love Bug shirt in a 4T on Pink OR the Whimsy Birds I'm Going to be a Big Sister OR lastly the Big Sister to be Owl.
She sent me the Pink Love Bug and I'm so happy with it!!!

It's a 4t, but it's a unisex style shirt so It's really wide. I rubberband the bottom corner of it to make it smaller and it works for now. At least I know it will fit her until December!

 The back!!!
You've all seen this picture already! I love it.
She loves this shirt. She LOVES the ladybug. She knows what it says now. I told her she was wearing it the day I told her she was going to be a big sister. She's so happy!! She can't wait.

I was going to wait to tell her, but we were going to appointments and had an u/s and I didn't want her to wait too long. She hasn't asked any questions yet, but once in a while she'll say "you're going to have another baby" so she's pretty excited.

Anyway, I really couldn't decide between the shirts and here's why

Now you see why my decision was so difficult!!

But I'm glad she sent me the Love Bug. Avery I call my little Bug, so it was fitting.

The material is great. The shirt is by Rabbit Skins so it's a good brand. I washed it and dried it. It seems to have shrunk a little, but not significantly so that's good. What I really like is these aren't just screenprinted on, they are like a part of the shirt material, it's not just printed. So it's weird, but it won't fade anymore than the natural fading of the fabric. Which is also nice!!

I really do love this shirt. They have some that are front AND back, like this
They also have big brother shirts. Big brother to BE shirts. Mom to be, Dad to be, Grandparents to be and Aunt/Uncle to be. Birthday boy and girl shirts as well.

There's lots to choose from
And in her Etsy store she also has Sibling Shirt Sets. Here's some examples
I could go on and on. Her designs are super adorable. Most of those sibling sets can be Sister or Brother. And I think she'd mix and match too.

I just might buy a set when this one comes. Big sister and Little... for them! How cute.

Price: Toddler shirts (like I received) are about $16. The Sibling sets (of 2) are $32. I think her prices are reasonable!

Overall: ***** Love the quality. It came super fast (within a week) and I just love the quality!

Artisana Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

We love peanut butter here in our house. Avery has a sandwich almost every day, and I put it on bagels and crackers and anything really. When I had the chance to try out different nut butters from Artisana. I jumped.

We were sent 2 full size jars of Coconut Butter and Cashini. They also sent along single serve squeeze packets in every flavor!
They have a lot of flavors and honestly, they sent me the 2 least favorite in the full size!! Cashini is Cashew and Tahini (sesame seeds).

My favorite so far has been the Cashew and the Walnut. The macadamia was pretty good too. Haven't tried the Cacao Bliss yet and the Coconut was hard when we got it (because it was cold that day).

They also send along Coconut Oil which will be put to use. YUM. I love cooking with it.
They have a ton of flavors. Avery has been using the Cashini on her sandwiches, she doesn't complain about it, but it's not very sweet at all. I would prefer it if they had a bit of added sugar in them to sweeten them up a bit.Peanuts are sweet without added sugar and these aren't so sweet.

But they have a great consistency. Easy to spread (except the coconut oil) and they aren't too runny so she's not dripping out of her  sandwich constantly.

Price: 16oz jars vary depending on the store. But are about $13-$17! A bit pricey, but they are healthier than peanut butter.

Overall: **** I'm not a fan, but it's a taste preference thing and Avery's eating them.

8 Weeks!

I was 8 weeks yesterday. Can't believe how much I'm showing already (bloat?).

Picky Sticky review coming soon!

When I found out I was pregnant (3.5-4 weeks) my stomach measured a 30" Now just 4 weeks later it's a 34". I've grown 4" in just about 4 weeks!!!! CAN'T Believe it. I'm pretty sure it's all bloat though. It will go away and then a few weeks later I'll start growing baby!! Baby is the size of a raspberry after all this week, so there's no way I could look like I swallowed a large grapefruit right?

Preggie Pops and Drops Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

I contacted Three Lollies (maker of Preggie Pops) the day I found out I was pregnant because I was so nauseous that day and knew I needed relief as soon as possible. He quickly agreed and later that week I had a sample of Preggie Pops and a sample of Preggie Pop Drops.

I'm so glad he sent along a variety of each. It gave me a chance to try each flavor.

I like the drops better. They are easier to just let dissolve in my mouth and not have to worry about which is kind of nice.

Of course after being in contact with Preggie Pops my nausea has pretty much gone away. I have a couple nights where I feel off, so I'll take one of these, but luckily it hasn't been major! I'm very thankful for that. And at almost 8 weeks I'm pretty sure I won't get it this time either!!!!

They do help though. The few nights where I've felt queasy and off, I take 1-2 of these or 1 drop and 1 pop and I feel better almost immediately. They have ginger in them which is great for a nausea reducer and I just feel great.

I have to admit though the Lavender flavored pop I thought would be weird but it was surprisingly good!! YUMMY. I love all the flavors I've tried so far too.

Price: I think it is so worth it. $5.50 for 21 drops and $3.95 for 7 pops. You can get variety or 1 flavor.

Overall: ***** I loved them!!

ResVitale Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Everyone wants to look and feel younger tight? ResVitale has just the right things to help you achieve that.

We received the new Elixir and the new Collagen Enhance Chews

Resveratrol is a powerful polyphenol found in the skin, seeds, stem and vine of red wine grapes that exerts significant antioxidant properties. Thought to serve as one explanation for the French Paradox - the idea that the French have a remarkably low incidence of heart disease compared to Americans despite a diet rich in high-fat foods - Resveratrol has over 2,000 associated clinical studies documenting the amazing benefits.

It is found primarily in Red Wine. I got these just less than 1 week after finding out I was pregnant. Although there is no traces of alcohol in these items I thought it was probably best I didn't take them.
So Jon has been my guinea pig and has been.
He takes the Elixir daily. He said it goes down smooth and has a decent flavor to it. I had a little taste of it and I agreed. The taste was a bit tart (like grapes can be) but it was okay. You take 1tsp a day of it. It's a 30 day supply.  This elixir has as much Resveratrol as 500 glasses of wine!! That's why I was leery of taking it.
Elixir has great antioxidant benefits, as well as enhances metabolic efficiency for increased energy, maximizes caloric burn during exercise and improves cardiovascular function.

The chews he doesn't want to take but he agreed to try one for me. He said it was soft, had a good sweet flavor and went down smoothly. He said it was almost like gummy vitamins.

ResVitale has lots of other items to try as well. They have Keratin Enhance, Beauty Sleep, Beautiful Legs and more.

Price: Elixir is $30. Collagen Chews are $20. Each are a 30 day supply.
They are available at GNC!

Overall: ***** I guess. He said he liked them, but it's hard to see if they're working yet.

NUX Review

I used to run a mile about 3 times a week. Now that I'm pregnant I have stopped running, but I do still use some workout DVD's as a part of my routine. I try and get them out 2-3 days a week. It doesn't always happen, but I try.

I was sent some beautiful things from NUX to try out and I'm pretty pleased.
I got the Joy Bootleg Capri and also the Venom 3 Loop Tank in Burnt Orange. I like them. I got them both in a Small, I know they are supposed to be more fitted, but they are a bit too fitted for my liking. I think a Medium would have been best in both of them. But they're okay.

But in Burnt Orange
I do overall like them. They are stretchy and have a good fit for someone who is truly a small, but like I said, Medium would have been best.

They have a ton of things to choose from at NUX. They have Bras, Pants, Shorts, Tanks, Capris, Hoodies and more. Some cool things!!

I have worn these a few times for working out. The top is now too tight (I'm already showing quite a bit) and the bottoms have gotten a little tight as well, but still manageable. I like them. The material is good and it seems to wick moisture away from the skin well.

Just a  little too tight for my comfort. Maybe after baby I'll lose a bit of weight and they'll feel better.

Price: The top I received is $46 and the Capris are $56. These are a bit expensive. I can get Nike Brand for cheaper. But they are comfortable overall.

Overall: **** price is a bit high and they're sizing seems to be a bit off. I'm usually an XS in workout pants and a small in tops.
*Disclaimer* I received an item directly from NUX in exchange for a review. I was not paid to try out these products*

Love Mode Rveiew & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Cute, Trendy Juniors Clothing is the Love Mode motto. I agree with it.

I was sent the cute Pink Striped Top (no longer on the site) And I love it. I wanted something flowy so I could still wear it for a while.
It is just like this one, but dark pink

I got mine in a Medium. A Small probably could've fit, but it fits okay. It just comes a bit off the shoulders for me. I find myself adjusting often so my bra straps aren't showing. It's alright though.

I like the material. It's thin(ish) but is comfortable. This is a great Spring/Fall top. It's perfect for those slightly cooler months like now, where it's in the 50s-60s.

Love Mode has Cheap Juniors Clothing and I'm loving their pieces.
Here are some of my favorites

Cute things! And cheap too.

Right now they have 20% off storewide sale PLUS FREE SHIPPING!!!

Price: The shirt I received is on sale for $11.81 Yes $11!!! The Vest above is $11.15. Peach Belted Dress is $18.41.
They have some super good deals!

Overall: ***** Love that shirt.

Meet Baby #2!

I'm 6w6d today. We saw the heartbeat flickering on the screen, just a little flutter. Everything looked normal. HB was at 127bpm. So all was well.

Still Due around 12/27/2011. She said baby was about the right size, so that was my confirmation of the date.

So it's very exciting.

So there's Baby!!

Kiki's Fashions Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

You might remember my past review for Kiki's Fashions. Well this time I received something totally different. Last time I got a short sleeve almost sweater type and this time I got the Blue Maternity Bermuda Shorts. I got them in a Small which is my usual size. Lately Xsmalls fit better in maternity, but these fit great.

I'm sure as my belly... and other things grow the shorts will fit me a bit better.
I wore them yesterday though with the panel folded down in half to kind of hold them up better. They were okay but slipped down periodically. I'm sure they'll fit great some August/September when I have a belly to hold them up.

We're taking a vacation to Georgia in August and POSSIBLY one to Florida in July and I'm sure these will be a staple for them.
We're also going up to my grandma's house probably in September/October once Jon finishes school and again, I'm sure these will be added to the bag.

I love them. They fit great and better than other smalls I have and the material seems long lasting. I love the back pockets. Except the inside is like rubber. It's weird it's the backing though for the indentation that's on the pockets.

But I love these, they're a great length, I love the slight flare on them at the bottom. LOVE them in general. Can't wait until they can get more use.

Price: Is the one thing you can't beat at Kiki's Fashions. The Bermuda's I received are $26.99. LOVE that price. Some others I've been looking at in stores are like $48!! They also have an Under $10 section and a Clearance section. And with new items added daily, there's always something new to see at Kiki's! Cheap Maternity Clothes

Overall: ***** again!! Love them!

DedeMed Review & Giveaway*CLOSED*

I love to cook and Mediterranean isn't really a favorite of mine, but I had the chance to try out DedeMed's 7 Spices. It's an all spice and sounded really good. It says right on the website that the 7 spices is used with meats, rice and vegetables.

So I took a basic recipe. Chicken chopped up, over rice with mixed in broccoli. And I added some of this 7 spices. Not too much, I figured I could always add more later. And it was actually really good. Now it wasn't an everyday Mediterranean recipe, but I made it my own and added the spice. It was good and I recommend everyone trying a spice they wouldn't normally and add it to a dish one day. It might become you're new favorite.

When we got the spice in the mail. I opened it up and took a wet finger to the lid and tasted it, it was STRONG! So I only added 1tsp to the entire recipe and it was enough. Not too strong and not too weak, it was just right. SO GOOD!!!

DedeMed Spice blends are manufactured using the highest quality, premium spices sourced from all over the world. They are expertly blended to provide a balanced, authentic flavor true to their heritage. All of the spice material is fresh, vibrant; and has been cleaned and treated for microbiological contamination. DedeMed Spice Blends are manufactured in a facility that uses Good Manufacturing Practices and currently has a "Superior" Food Safety Rating from the American Institute of Baking.
Price: $8.95-$10.95 for one. $24.95 for 3 and $89.95 for all 15 that they offer.

Overall: ***** Very good!!

Essential Swimwear Review, Discount Code & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Summer is coming, whether we think it is or not. We've had 3 nice days in the past 2 months, but I'm still not totally convinced. However, when it does decided to show it's sunny face I'll be ready thanks to Essential Swimwear.

You might remember my Review on them last year where I reviewed the Starry Night Gathered Halter in a Medium and the White Hipster Bottoms in a Small.
Well they were a bit small on me. Hard to get off especially when wet. I did use it last summer to go swimming with. As long as I dried off well afterwards then I was fine getting it off.

This Time I was sent the Watermelon Twist Front Top and the White Hipster Bottoms again. I got a Large in the top and a Medium on the bottom. it fits so much better. There's also room so I think it will fit my belly too since I'll only be about 24 weeks at the end of August when the summer is dying down!!

In the back you can either do Halter, Criss Cross (as shown) Or regular straps! It's cool that it's convertible like that, although Halter will probably be worn most often by me. It's the easiest to tie too.

I like the twist in the front. It's really cure. And the gathers at the sides are perfect for my belly to be growing! I probably could have gotten away with a Medium on the top, but I'm happy it's a bit large for that reason.

I can't wait to use it this summer AND use it in the hot tub next winter (after baby's born)

They have lots of styles to choose from and lots of new styles as well. Some cute things and the bottoms I received are only on sale for $11.39 right now!!!

According to their sizing I'd be a Medium all around, but that medium from last year does not fit me very well and the medium bottoms this time are a bit big. But this medium top would fit better. It's hard to determine! But based on their size I SHOULD be a Medium!

Price: Some bottoms are $11.39. The tops are about $35.99. Still worth it. They're great quality!

Overall: ***** My suit from last year has held up well.

Discount Code MOMMY10 will give you 10% off until May 21st
