I have been on a major wool kick lately. I've really backed off lately now that I found out I have pregnancy induced Carpel Tunnel, but I received some LOVELY Wool from Wacky Alpacky and despite how my hands felt I had to get it knit up as soon as possible because I just loved it!

Kaysie custom dyed me some wonderful wool. It's 85% wool and 15% alpaca. I had never knit with alpaca before so this was new to me!

I of course did size NB longies! 

I have enough left over for a matching hat too, so that's in the works!

This wool was different. It's 1 ply so it's a lot fuzzier then I'm used to. That was thanks to the alpaca too. I had fuzz all over me after knitting! It's SUPER thick though and will keep babe nice and toasty. It probably should've been knit on slightly bigger needles. I did it on size 8s and maybe should've on size 10s or so. So it's tight knit and thick, but they're perfect for an end of December baby!

They are twice as thick as my other longies. So they'll keep him plenty warm. 

It was easy to knit with though. Although thicker then I'm used to, it worked out nicely. 

It was easy for Kaysie to get what I wanted too. I just told her what colors I wanted and that I wanted Green Trim and this showed up in m mailbox. I couldn't have been more excited. It's gorgeous, gender neutral and I just adore it.

Kaysie does wool, but she also does embroidery on t-shirts. So if you ask for custom wool she can also make you a matching shirt! She does appliques too.

I'm probably going to order a l/s shirt to go with these soon. 

She was super easy to work with and FAST!!!

Price: It really depends on what kind of wool you get. Right now she has a GREAT deal on a Halloween yarn. 7oz of colorway plus 2 oz of trim for just $22.50! She has a 3.5oz skein called Pumpkin spice for just $9!
