Mommy's Favorite Things: Zevia Review

Zevia Review

I like pop (soda), but I don't like all the sugar that's in it. Also the Calories aren't really needed, when I pig out on other stuff anyway. Empty calories. So I like a healthier option to drink. That's where Zevia comes in. It's an all natural and Zero Calorie soda!!

ZEVIA INFORMATION

ZEVIA is the first all natural zero calorie soda. With only pure ingredients, ZEVIA contains none of the chemically processed artificial sugar substitutes, artificial flavors or artificial colors found in other diet sodas. ZEVIA is all-natural, has zero calories, zero net carbs, zero fat, and little or no sodium (depending on flavor).
All seven delicious ZEVIA varieties - ZEVIA Natural Cola, ZEVIA Natural Orange, ZEVIA Natural Twist, ZEVIA Natural Root Beer, ZEVIA Natural Black Cherry, and ZEVIA Natural Ginger Ale - are healthier and taste better than any other diet soda. Click here for answers to Frequently Asked Questions about ZEVIA.
Learn the facts about ZEVIA's pure, all natural ingredients including stevia, an herb native to South and Central America used for centuries to sweeten food. Stevia is hundreds of times sweeter than sugar and has no effect on blood sugar levels. Click here to learn more about the history and science of stevia.

Zevia Sent me a Mixed 24 pack

I'm really liking them so far. You can tell that the Stevia is a different kind of sugar. But other than that It's real good and doesn't taste like diet in my opinion. Jon doesn't like them, but I do and that's good because they'll last a while.

He did take a few in to work and spread them around. They seemed to really like them there and said they were "Smooth and had a good taste"

Price: A 24 pk is $23.99 so $1 a can. It's a little more than the price in the store, but it's what you'd pay at a vending machine. So I think it's worth it!

Overall: **** 1/2 I think the flavor is pretty good but I don't like that you can taste a weird sugar in there. It almost tastes fake like Aspartame!

*Disclaimer* I received these products directly from the Company for Review. I was not paid to try out these products!*

Erythritol is a natural sweetener found in many fruits and vegetables. It is extracted from those sources by a natural fermentation process. The erythritol in Zevia® exists in the same form - unchanged - as it does in plants and vegetables.neat! gcgranny72@hotmail.com

Why is Zevia® packaged in aluminum cans instead of glass bottles?
Aluminum cans are better on the environment than glass bottles. For example, making cans from recycled aluminum cuts related air pollution by 95%, whereas making glass from recycled materials reduces air pollution by only 20%. Aluminum is much lighter than glass to ship and consequently reduces stress on the environment, such as gas required to fuel trucks, materials necessary to handle the load of glass, and extra emissions from freight vehicles due to weight. The aluminum can is the most valuable beverage container to recycle. Vist Earth 911 for more information.

I first heard about Stevia when I was on a low-carb diet years ago. Then, I had to buy it at a health food store. It's great to see it in so many products now. One thing I learned on the Zevia site is that Most colas use cheap, harmful phosphoric acid for flavor. Phosphoric acid is used in fertilizers and detergents. It erodes tooth enamel and has been linked to depletion of calcium, a contributing factor in osteoporosis.
