Ella's Kitchen Review

Organic food is the best. How many times have we heard this? It is, but it doesn't fit into everyone's budget, Mine included. So when I had the opportunity to review Ella's Kitchen and get some Organic Fruit and Vegetables into Avery's system I jumped on it.

Ella's Kitchen sent us 6 Stage 1 Baby Foods and 2 Smoothie Fruits. 1 in each flavor. Avery is almost 3, yes I understand. But I didn't see any reason she couldn't eat and slurp these.
And Was I right!! She loves them. She's been getting one a day and she's in love!
Here's how she feels about her Ella's Kitchen Yellow One Smoothie
Must be Yummy huh?

Our pouches are perfect to pop into a handbag or a day bag and can be fed to your baby warm or cold (warmed by simply standing in hot water). They can also be served straight from the pouch, with just a spoon - no bowl necessary. In this way we think that our baby foods are the most convenient baby foods you can buy (as well as the healthiest!) and can be a perfect complement to your own cooked meals if time or location make these difficult to provide. The re-screwable cap allows for safe use for up to 48 hours if refrigerated or a partially used, freshly opened pouch can be frozen in the freezer and used for up to 3 months. However, never feed your baby previously warmed up food.
We only use whole organic fruits and vegetables in our Stage 1 baby food products, never concentrates. Some vegetables may have been frozen, immediately after being harvested, which locks in the freshly picked nutrients and minerals. We also always avoid using concentrates in our products because we want to keep 'processing' down to the minimum required to ensure our product is safe for babies.
In using whole fruits and vegetables instead of concentrates, using ingredients because of their taste and nutritional value rather than because of their price and avoiding adding preservatives or anything artificial, we offer babies pure and simple healthy foods rather than cheap and artificial tasting ones. That's our choice, and we know it is the choice of the vast majority of parents of young babies.

the concept

Our Stage 1 baby food range is a completely different concept in baby food, bring together minimally processed, carefully chosen organic natural fruits and vegetables including many superfoods and extremely convenient and easy packaging.
We looked at what existing baby foods offered, and worked out ways in which we could improve on them in terms of taste, nutrition, fun and ease - while keeping very much to our pure and simple roots. Hence this range offers moms the best of both worlds - pure and simple nutritious food for your babies with homemade tastes and textures, and the convenience of a handy little pouch that makes feeding weaning babies incredibly easy whether at home or out and about.

Ella's Kitchen Smoothie Fruits only contain a blend of whole pureed fruits that have been sieved to take out any insoluble bits (skin, seeds, cores, etc).
We also avoid using concentrates in our products because we want to keep 'processing' down to the minimum required to ensure that the product is safe.

they're organic!

We have sourced all of our fruit from organic farms because we passionately believe that reducing the number of pesticides we put into our children's bodies is a hugely important issue.
We also think that organic fruit is more nutritious and tastes better! If you are looking for reasons for eating organic food, click here to find 10 great ones.

These products are yummy, I've tried them myself. Yum! All natural no added sugars, juices, or concentrates. There's not even Added WATER!!! These are 100% fruit and only 100% fruit! Isn't that great??

Price: The Stage 1 baby foods are $1.79 each at Babies R Us. This is a little pricey for me, but for a once in a while treat I think this is a great price. I would GLADLY feed my infant 3-4 of these a week, but it's a little pricey for every day!
And the Smoothies are $1.39 each.
Overall: ***** There's really nothing more that can be said!

*Disclaimer* I received these products directly from the Company for Review. I was not paid to try out these products!*
