I received a sample from HALO for the sole purpose of this review
October is Sids awareness month and did you know that most babies die of Sids in their sleep? Sleeping with a wearable blanket can significantly reduce this as there's nothing for babies to pull over their face/nose.
HALO is the leading brand for these wearable blankets and swaddlers and we have worked together so many times now. I have loved each and every one of the items I've received and I will continue to use them until baby #3 is outgrown their products.
This time around we received the Early Walker Fleece Robots blanket!
It has a foot cuff, which I like that it's big because...
We can fold it in half to make the sack a bit shorter.
Zipper unzips from the bottom. All of HALO's wearable blankets are like this and I love that feature.
It is pretty big, but the cuffs are tight enough that Emerson doesn't trip on it or have it fall off.
We got the Large which is a 12-18m, but based on the length and weight it should've been perfect (up to 35" he's like 33" and starting from 22-28 pounds. He's between 22 and 23 pounds). But it is still big.
It's not insanely big though, but if I would've gotten the 18-24m since he's almost 21 months, it would've been huge!!
ALWAYS check height and weight before just going off age :)
So just keep in mind that these do run a bit big. But they make them a bit big so you can tuck baby's feet in while they're sleeping.
Otherwise we love it. The fleece is super soft and I love that he can walk around in this one.
All summer we used our cotton sacks because he would pull off his pants and then his diaper, but he couldn't walk in them. With this he can stay in it in the morning and stay nice and cozy for a couple hours.
The best part is this is pretty much just pajamas. So he can wear a lightweight pajama shirt underneath and then just wear this on top! It's so soft and comfy, I know he'll be plenty warm and also it will be nice and soft against his skin.
During the month of October, HALO will donate $1 to SIDS Awareness for every new Facebook “like”.
HALO Innovation’s SleepSack® wearable blankets have become the standard for hospital nurseries and parents alike. In fact, 1,000 hospital nurseries use the HALO SleepSack Swaddle instead of blankets through the HALO Safer Way to Sleep Initiative. HALO Innovations also offers free Safe Sleep Practices kits to childbirth educators to help further the cause of SIDS prevention.
The new HALO designs can be found at Target.com and Amazon.com.
I love the new Ladybug print!
Price: $26.95 for the fleece early walker ones.
*Disclaimer* I received an item directly from HALO in exchange for a review. I was not paid to try out these products*
A big thank you goes out to HALO for allowing me to review this product and for offering a giveaway
