Impel Clothing Review & Giveaway

I love clothing that I can layer. Undershirts are a must for me... I wear a lot of sweaters and zip up sweatshirts so they are necessary. I received the Favorite V-Neck Tee in Cameo Pink from Impel and I just adore it! Love the color too.
I was sent the small and it fits me great. It's very form fitting, which I like for underneath.

It is very long which I also love, it covers everything up nicely. It is the softest tee I own. It's not all cotton, it has some spandex in it, so the stretch and softness it just great.

This shirt washes really well. It's been washed a handful of times now and it comes out softer every time. It has not shrunk either, which is a huge plus.

I love the v-neck, I don't feel like I'm choking when I wear it.

Impel has a lot of basics, but they also carry other every day things too like sweaters, dresses, jackets belts and more! I love all they have to offer.

Price: The tee I received is $20. I think this is reasonable. It is a really soft, great top.

Overall: *****

Short Hats Review from Melondipity

How cute is that logo??

We received one of the Baby Hats from Melondipity.

We received the Riley hat in Burgundy and I really like it. At first I thought it looked more boyish then girl, but after trying it on (in the 2-5 yr size) I realized I really like it. The more she wears it the more it's growing on me.

The hat is very adjustable and it fits her great. It adjusts in the back. Of course, Avery is tiny so she's wearing it on the tightest setting, but I know it will fit her for years to come.

Short Hats carries a lot of different kinds. You may remember my last review for short hats. Avery still wears those 2 this winter and I love them just as much.

Short Hats has proven to be long withstanding. We have used those hats for a year not and they are holding up great.

Just visit www.melondipity.com for fun hats and other things for kids!

Price: This hat is $28. I think that is a little much, but like I said, I've gotten a year out of the other 2 and as long as they continue to fit, I'll get plenty more out!

Overall: ***** Love it!! Once again!

Mouse House Creations Review & Giveaway

Along with children safety comes a realm that most parents don't even know of. You know it's safest to keep your child harnessed for as long as possible, but did you also know that wearing a winter jacket under that harness is VERY unsafe and can potentially be deadly? A puffy jacket compresses in a crash and can fling the child out of the seat if the harness straps are loosened enough.

If you have to loosen the straps to get your child in the seat than that jacket is NOT ok to be worn. Sweatshirts are fine and thinner jackets are okay as well, but big puffy winter jackets are unacceptable.

So what is the solution? Well you could take off your child's jacket, strap them in and cover them with either a blanket or their jacket on backwards OR you can get a Car Seat Poncho Like those made my Mouse House Creations. She made Avery a custom reversible poncho and I'm in LOVE!!

Hard Candy Review & Giveaway

You all know how much I love makeup! I also love their logo. How cute is that? Hard Candy has affordable good quality makeup.

I was sent the Eye Def Shadow in Silver, the Glow All The Way Bronzer in Gold, and the Mouthing Off Lip Gloss in Clear.
Glow All The Way is infused with 24 karat gold!! How awesome! I have used this on my face and I like it. I thought it would be more of a bronzer and make me look tan, but it didn't. It just put nice gold flecks on my face and neck. Cute and perfect for the summer when the sun reflects, but it's also great for now in the winter to make you look like you have a sun kissed glow!

The eye shadow is different. It's liquid. After putting it on I have to wait a couple minutes with my eyes closed for it to dry for a little bit, but it's pretty awesome. Not something I'd wear every day, it's more for going out and when we go to concerts, but I do like it and it lasts a while too.

Lip gloss is great. It's clear with silver sparkles in it. I love that. It looks natural with a little shine and glimmer.

None of the stuff I received is smelly. Sometimes makeup can be stinky. This stuff was not. I really liked it.

Price: They're all about $5-$6 at walmart. All about the same price. I think this is acceptable. A little bit too much for a lip gloss, but find for the bronzer etc.

Overall: ***** Loved it all.

Activewear USA Review & Giveaway

I used to work out a LOT. I ran track in High School and also tried out for lots of other teams. I played Softball in 4th grade, Cheerleading in 5th grade. In 7th grade I tried out for Volleyball. I was always very active. 7th-10th grade I ran track. I loved everything about it. Except the bad hips and knees it gave me.
I also did yoga for a couple years in middle school.

I still like to work out, I just lack the motivation to do it. About once a week I'll go do a workout DVD, but I know it's not really helping me. I still like to run at least once a week when it's warm. It's very relaxing to me. But I can't do more than a mile before my knees start hurting.

I was sent a new shirt from Activewear USA to try out and I like it a lot. I have worked out in it and I like the breathability of the top.

Gorton's Grilled Review & Giveaway

I have said it before and will absolutely say it again. The Gorton's Man looks just like my father! I can't get a picture to post of the man on their homepage but check it out here at Gorton's that guy on the left. He looks like my dad, but I can't find a picture of him right now, that shows his face.

Anyway, We received a few coupons for Gorton's Grilled products in the mail. I went that night and we got a few things. We got a Salmon Lemon Butter box, 1Tilapia Garlic Butter, Tilapia Lemon Peppercorn and 2 Garlic Butter Grilled Fillets.

We ate some that night, but I saved the 2 garlic butter fillet boxes for a recipe. I still haven't made it. I like to stick to my recipes for the week and I keep forgetting to write this one down.

I'm going to make the Garlic Butter Grilled Over Parmesan Rice whenever I get a chance. I think it sounds easy enough. I just forget!!

Gorton's has a January Facebook Giveaway! I'm sorry this is so late, but there's still time to enter. Just go Here and enter to win a coupon. They are drawing 250 winners on the 31st. Also entering for a chance to win an Xbox 360 with Kinect will be drawn on January 31st as well.
Good Luck

Price: Gorton's Boxes of Grilled are right around $5 at my local store. This is a little pricey as the boxes only have 2 fillets in them. But it is worth it for high quality fish.

Overall: ***** Love Gorton's, they're a trusted brand.

Crazy Dog and NachoMama Tees Review

Normally I would write these posts separate, but they are owned by the same people and Avery and I got matching shirts, so I thought it was appropriate to post them in one!!
Sadly I haven't gotten a picture of both of us in our shirts!!!

Avery received the Yes I wore This Shirt Yesterday from CrazyDog and I received the Women's Recycle Tee from NachoMama.
They both look exactly the same, but this is the kids

This is the men's, I got the women's but I can't find a picture, It's just like this but has more definition of a woman's body, it gets smaller in the waist.

They're exactly the same aren't they? Oh well! They truly look the same.
Avery got the Youth Small, it's a little big on her as that's about a size 5-6, but it's still very cute.

I got mine in the small as well and it fits great. Usually I get a medium and like it to fit a little bigger, but I'm happy with the small.

I've been trying not to wear mine too much, I'm waiting for Avery to grow into her's and then we can wear them together, so I don't want mine fading or shrinking too much before then. But they're cute!!

Price: They are SUPER cheap. The Women's and Men's are $16.99. The Child's is $14.99. They have cheaper shirts even a $6.99 section

Overall: ***** Love these shirts! Loved the service too!

Mom To 3 Qties Review & Giveaway

Cloth is probably one of my favorite things to blog about. I hope that each time post about cloth wipes, diapers, or pads someone new sees it and is introduced to the idea and really considers it, or even better wins it and sees for themselves! So every time I get a chance to review a cloth item I jump at it.

This time I'm reviewing a pad from Mom To 3 Qties. She has some beautiful items and the one she sent me is no exception.
I received a Cloth Pad in Peace Signs.
I love the colors of this pad and I love the peace signs. To me peace means green and eco conscious so that is perfect for a pad. I like the wings on it. I thought they were a little too skinny at first, but I kind of like it once it's on.

The only thing I don't really care for is that both sides are exactly the same, so I can't tell which side has the PUL (waterproof layer) closer to it. It could cause leaks. I need to squeeze each side and find the PUL (crinkly noise) and decipher it that way. Kind of a pain.

I like when pads have fleece or another fabric on the back so you can tell which way it's supposed to go.

Other than that I love the pad. The flannel is super soft up against your girly bits and it hasn't leaked for me. It just takes a minute to figure out the side. What I did is when I washed it, I figured what side had the PUL and I placed it in the drawer the correct way, so when I pick it up I can just put it on and it's waterproof layer down and more absorbent layers toward the top.

Works okay for now!

Luckily I have enough pads to only wear each of them once during a cycle so it's not that big of a pain. I also hope this is the last time I have to wear a pad for the next 9 months or MORE since I plan on breastfeeding exclusively! We'll see though.

Price: Her pads are about $6.25 and her pantiliners are $3.75 or a set of 2 (regular and patiliner) for $9.75. Decent prices.

Overall: **** She should have a different fabric on the back. I recommend fleece as it's slip resistant and is also water resistant.

Go Green Pocket Diapers (Champ) Review & Giveaway

We have already done a review for Go Green Pocket Diapers and they also donated one for Merry Fluffy Christmas. So this is the THIRD time I'm featuring them here on my blog and I still love them! The prices especially!!

This time we were sent the new Champ diaper which is SO different from the regulars!
We got our diaper in the Giraffe Print!

Tropical Traditions Dish Liquid Review & Giveaway

I have received many products from Tropical Traditions and I have loved every one of them. Our Organic Raw Honey gets lots of use in teas and baking. I love it. The coconut oil same thing. I put some in a separate container and use it as a diaper rash cream, it's cloth diaper safe and it's a great barrier. I use it as a lotion, just rub some on (just a little so it absorbs) I love our laundry detergent. I use it all and love it all equally.

This time I received the 1 Gallon Dish Liquid. I again, of course, love it! It's 1 gallon so it will definitely last a long time. Fragrance and Dye free so it's great for allergies.

It is coconut oil based, but doesn't smell like anything at all. Just pure and clean. I am allergic to a lot of dish liquids. Palmolive is the most popular one. It gives me an itchy rash and I get all red. My hands feel like they're on fire after a little while. I break out like crazy. A lot of off brands too. I use Dawn normally because it's been one of the only ones to work for me.

This is great for me. Because of the fragrance and dye free and that it's natural from coconuts, I can use it without any problems. I love it!!!

Household Traditions Dish Liquid is an effective and concentrated dish soap developed by and for people with allergies, asthma and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities.* Household Traditions Dish Liquid is a coconut-based product—it contains nature’s versatile, renewable harvest. With coconut’s natural moisturizing qualities, washing dishes is even soothing to your hands. Household Traditions Dish Liquid is safe for you but tough on dirty, greasy dishes. It breaks down safely and rapidly making it safer for the environment. It is also low sudsing, making it ideal for camping or other outdoor uses. Household Traditions Dish Liquid is free of fragrances, phosphates, petroleum solvents, chlorine, dyes and other common triggers for respiratory or skin irritations.

Price: The 1 gallon bottle (great for refilling into smaller bottles) is $29.50 on sale from $50. I would never pay $50 for this. However at the $30 price I think it's totally worth it. A gallon is 128 ounces so that would be $.23 an ounce. So the average dish liquid bottle of about 16oz would be $3.68 for a bottle. That's about what I pay for Dawn... So why not something fragrance and dye free that works and doesn't break me out? I would pay that in a heartbeat!!

Overall: ***** Love it. I have never had a complaint from Tropical Traditions, and I don't think I ever will. Their shipping is about 3 days as well, so that's great!

Perricone Cosmetics is one of the leading brands in skin care! They have so many things to choose from and I was sent just one of their great products. I was sent the Skin Clear Hydrator for review.
