I used to work out a LOT. I ran track in High School and also tried out for lots of other teams. I played Softball in 4th grade, Cheerleading in 5th grade. In 7th grade I tried out for Volleyball. I was always very active. 7th-10th grade I ran track. I loved everything about it. Except the bad hips and knees it gave me.
I also did yoga for a couple years in middle school.
I still like to work out, I just lack the motivation to do it. About once a week I'll go do a workout DVD, but I know it's not really helping me. I still like to run at least once a week when it's warm. It's very relaxing to me. But I can't do more than a mile before my knees start hurting.
I was sent a new shirt from Activewear USA to try out and I like it a lot. I have worked out in it and I like the breathability of the top.
However, when I got it there was MAKEUP on the inside built in bra... That means my shirt had already been tried on. A bit of a turn off for me.
So I washed it before wearing. The makeup came right off. It washed real nicely.
The material is almost that of a swim suit. So as you know, it doesn't really absorb much like a suit. If I get sweaty it absorbs the little bit of it and any excess moisture would come right through the shirt. But I don't sweat while working out, or at least not enough for it to come through the shirt. The little bit I do sweat was absorbed by this top and kept me cool. The material is really neat.
The style of the shirt is neat too. It gets narrower in the waist, which allows for a great tight fit. While I'm working out I don't want something loose and baggy getting in the way, so this is nice and tight. I ordered the size Medium and it fits me great. I used their size chart and it said Medium would be best. They were dead on.
Price: My shirt is no longer sold on the site, it's discontinued so I can't give a price on it.But the other items on the site seem to be relatively priced according to competition.
Overall: **** The makeup was a HUGE turnoff for me. I know I was sent the item for review purposes, but what if I had purchased it? Ewww
