This is one of those things that I LOVE reviewing. It's one of the most awesome things invented and I love trying inventive things like this.
I'm of course talking about the new Rockboard it's a regular scooter, but can also be rocked without having to pump your leg on the ground!
We received the Mini since Avery is only 4.5
It was super easy to assemble. It just needed to be unfolded, handlebars snapped in. Nothing needed to be screwed together it was already assembled for the most part. Just some clicks! It even has a kick stand!!!
Now this is set up in regular scooter mode. You can pump your leg on the ground and have a cool new scooter.
OR you can do the simple switch of a button and turn it into a rocker... It is so easy to switch between the modes. From a rocker to a regular scooter you just push down on the back end and roll it forward. And to turn it from a scooter to a rocker you just pull a pin on the side and pull up on the front of the platform! Really easy and takes just seconds to switch.
Here's a video
The mini is for ages 5 and up, and up to 90 pounds!!! Avery doesn't have a helmet yet so she hasn't been able to use it unfortunately, but I know that once we get her a helmet and some pads she will have a blast with this scooter!
They also have a regular model and it's for ages 8 and up, and up to 200 pounds! Yes, this means even the adults can use it!!
I LOVE that it has the rocking feature though. I had scooters as a kid, but after a while that leg gets tired! This is AWESOME!
The Rockboard can be purchased at Target.com
Price: The Mini retails for $160 and the full size is $200.
