Avery truly loves books, it's the only thing she really 'plays' with. She loves to 'read' them and loves to just get sucked in by them.
She carefully flips the pages and talks about what she sees in the picture. So when I had the chance to review for Runley I was ecstatic.
They are read-along books! I received the Pig in a Tub and Finding Leif's Heart for review.
You play the CD, when it's done with a page it BEEPS to let the child know to turn the page.
I really love these. She has patience with it and knows she has to wait for the beep. It helps her explain what's going on better and it's teaching her to read. While watching her read them I see that she's actually following the words as the narrator is speaking, so she's learning how to read by using these read-alongs.
It's pretty neat. The pictures aren't real grabbing either, so they don't take the child away from the words.
There are lots of books to choose from.
Price: $6.99 each! NOT BAD at all.
Overall:***** Love these.
Runley has offered one Mommy Of 1 and Counting reader the chance to win both books that I reviewed.
