Luckily for me we have a hot tub, so I can wear them year round, but It's still COLD in the winter. It's nice to wear them to the beach, has a whole new meaning!
I was given $100 to spend at Swimspot to buy a hot new bathing suit. I was lucky enough to find one I really liked that was $69, so I also got Avery something!! Yes they have adult and childrens things.
At first we BOTH got a Small.
I got the Nailed It Monokini by Reef Women's Swimwear and Avery got the Puerto Rico Rash Guard by Hurley
However, they were both too small. They sent along a great little return/exchange slip and a prepaid label. So I sent them both back. Got Avery a medium and myself a Large. MY PR rep is also a fit specialist, so I gave her my measurements and she recommended the Large for myself.
The bottoms were a bit big, but the top fit just right and it held the bottoms up, so they fit great!!
It was really easy to send back my items and get my new ones in the mail. From the purchase date until getting my second shipment in my hands was a little under 2 weeks. Which was NOT bad for me. 3 days to get here, 3 days back to them and then another 3 days here. That's 9 working days, so that's about right!!
Very tolerable. If you're planning a vacation I'd order a month in advance to ensure it fits. If it doesn't fit you'll have to send it back and then may not have it in time!!
They have this GREAT fit Specialist (I mentioned it earlier) You email them, give them your measurements and they recommend the size for you in the brand you're looking at. I think it's really a great feature and one that not many sites have.
They also have the Bikini Builder. You go to that link, choose the brand you want, swap around the pieces and when you're happy with it Click Buy!! How easy is that. It helps you see how things look together! AWESOME!!
Another great feature!
There was so many things to choose from on the site.
I ALMOST got this. By Guess
This, but it was WAY over budget (by $40)
You can see why I struggled right??
And apparently I LOVE Blue! hehe
They also have some ADORABLE Hurley Girls suits.
She would fit right in with the Gosselin's! How adorable!!
I almost got Avery that top Bathing suit there instead of the rash guard, but I would've had to pay $5 and I didn't feel like busting my card out. LAZY I know :)
Price: My suit was $69 and Avery's guard was $30! The girl's top swimsuit is $36. I think these are reasonably priced. Unless you get into the one I said was WAY over budget. It was $140 for both pieces, that's a LOT for a suit!
Overall: ***** Experience was great!
Swimspot has offered one Mommy Of 1 and Counting reader the chance to win a $50 certificate!!
