Empower Fitness Review & Giveaway

I received a sample from Empower Fitness for the sole purpose of this review

Being more into fitness lately, I'm always looking for things I can do at home. I go to the gym for weightlifting but like to do most of my cardio here at the house. I was contacted by Empower Fitness and knew I wanted to try them! 

I got the 3-in-1 Kettlebell, SkipFit and NiteBrite Ultra Reflective Fleece Headband.

SkipFit is like those old school Skipit's we all had as kids. It burns as many calories as running and you can do it stationary right in your own house!

I can only seem to do it with the loop on my right ankle, just more coordinated I guess, but I still get in a really good workout that way.

The NiteBrite ultra reflective fleece headband covers your ears with warm fleece, has a hole for your ponytail and is reflective so drivers see you at night. It's really warm and fits my head perfectly. However the ponytail needs to be REALLY low to fit through here.

The 3-in-1 Kettlebell is really neat. It's a cool concept I've never seen before. It is 5, 8 and 12 pounds all in one. Each plate screws on and locks in place. So the top part is 5lb, the middle is 3 and the bottom is 4. Making it 5, 8 or 12 pounds!
It also comes with a DVD with workout videos and demonstrations to get in the perfect cardio workout, and BOY does it work. I wore my heart rate monitor when I did a quick 10m exercise with the Kettlebell and I burned 155 calories. In 10 minutes! Do it for an hour and you're killing those calories!

Overall I love my new Empower Fitness items! The headband stays on your head, the Kettlebell and SkipFit give you a really good workout and they're fun and can easily be done from home.

Overall: ***** My first Kettlebell was leaking, but they quickly replaced it for me.
