A few years back, we had purchased a very expensive Kirby (like $2000 talked down to $1200 expensive). Although that vacuum cleaner is amazing and cleans VERY well with no issues (it's 4 years old now), I was excited to try the new Eureka AirSpeed All Floors  since it can clean any floor surface with the turn of a knob. 

Assembly was easy. The yellow part of handle snaps on back, the handle snaps onto that, the container snaps onto front and then just the tools needed to be snapped into place. Really easy.

Adjuster for the level of your carpet and one for bare floors.

Stair and upholstery brush make cleaning easy.

This knob switches between floors and tools.

The tools store right on the unit which makes it easy to use when you need them. No searching for that tool in the bottom of your closet.

Carry handle makes it easy to move around and carry up/down stairs.

To turn the brushroll on and off. It needs to be on for carpet and off for bare floors.

power button is pushed with your foot and is really easy to push.

 The grey button releases the handle so you can push it.

Now... We got brand new carpet and a brand new pad 3 weeks before this vacuum arrived. We vacuumed 6 days before this arrived with our ever expensive vacuum that had a brand new bag in it.

I know that new carpet can shed a bit, but we bought a non shedding carpet. This is not carpet shreds...

The white in the middle is from a rug we threw away in our living room. The top part seems to be cat hair, but what is with all that dust??? Did we really create that much in 3 weeks?

On one hand I'm totally disgusted and this makes us seem like dirty people (which we're not) on the other hand, I'm super thankful to have a great new vacuum!!!

We filled up a bean bag chair (fairly unsuccessfully) and I figured I'd showcase how this vacuum cleaned up those beans with ease!

THANKFULLY the next time we vacuumed it was not quite as gross. But really, we don't walk in the house with shoes on, we are NOT dirty people. We have 3 cats and my son gets food on the floor, I really though that's all we'd pick up besides a bit of dust and the rug stuff... Where did all that come from?

I am thankful to have a great vacuum that works though now!

The vacuum is really easy to use. Although I wish it glided a tad easier on my carpet, it gives me a good arm workout. It's really easy to switch between carpet and bare floors and I can clean my whole house in under 10 minutes which makes me love it even more. If I were to do that with my Kirby, I'd have to turn it off and turn off the belt and it's such a pain! I also have to take the head of the vacuum off just to attach the hose.
But with the Eureka, the hose is permanently hooked up, you just switch it to tools and you're good to go! It is that easy!! I LOVE the length of the hose, it allows me to get the corners of my ceiling easily and so I can clean my fans and stuff. I can't wait for Spring Cleaning now that I have this Eureka! Really, it will get all the dust bunnies in my house with ease :)

We don't have stairs, but I'm excited to use the upholstery tool out in my car this Spring!

The AirSpeed technology moves more air for a deeper clean. Never loses suction. And it's proven to clean carpets better than the Dyson DC41 and I can say with confidence that it does better than the Kirby too!! It has a High Efficiency Allergen Filter as well.

It is also really easy to clean. You pop off the canister with a simple handle and then you push a button and it pops the bottom open. Just do it outside or hold over a garbage can before opening!

The best part though? Definitely the price!!!
