I received a sample for the sole purpose of this review

My youngest is now 6 weeks old. I had to remove my diamond necklace a few weeks back because he was constantly grabbing at it. While I was holding him, while I was nursing him, whenever. It was there for him to grab and he did. So I took it off and promptly contacted Chewbeads. They are long necklaces that are made out of a soft silicone and are meant for baby to chew on while they're teething. 

I received the new Essex necklace and I love it so much.

Although we're not quite at the teething stage yet, I have been loving this necklace. Liam grabs it while he's nursing and also while he's in the baby carrier as well. It has a nice breakaway clasp too so if he ever pulls it too hard it won't hurt my neck.

I love that the beads go along the whole length of the necklace which makes it much more stylish. 

The necklace is a bit long on me for my typical liking (30"), but it's nice when Liam's nursing, it is something nice for him to grab onto. 

The necklaces are all made with 100% silicone and they are really soft and 'mushy'. I chewed on one briefly and no teeth marks were left behind at all. It looked brand new, so I know that with use overtime it will still look amazing. 

My favorite part though is that it's dishwasher safe. Let's face it, things that go in baby's mouths always end up dirty at some point AND if it ever falls on the ground or somewhere else dirty, it can be easily cleaned.
