Using a regular bumper in a crib is not safe. It restricts baby's air flow and can suffocate your child. Even still, having nothing there can be rough on babies. They get their heads pushed up against the hard wood and nobody wants to sleep like that. So Go Mama Go Designs has the Wonder Bumpers pads. They are individual pads that go on the bars of your crib. They allow air flow, but still protect baby's noggin!

My crib before! My son definitely was a chewer and I had to buy (and makeshift) a teething guard and then I made 2 for the sides as well with fleece and snaps. Not ideal, but it worked.

 I loved getting the teething guard from Go Mama Go. It's so soft and fits the side perfectly.

 This sheet is ridiculously soft!

 They would look like this in the green/white pattern, but I chose to go all green!

Although my son is 23 months and doesn't really need bumpers, the new baby will use this crib as well and these will be perfect for baby, but still allow him to breathe.

My bars on the front of the crib are shorter than most, but the bumpers scrunched up on them with no problems. You can see though how they fit the bars on the sides and back. My crib is beautiful, but it's not very standard since it has the huge solid panel on the front. But I liked that these were able to fit my crib anyway!

They are so soft and I know that baby will be super comfortable in this crib when he starts using it. My son is almost 2 now and he has been using this set and I'm sure he's liking it a lot as well.
I just might have to get him a nice minky sheet for his twin bed when he moves into it!

Each bumper zips onto the rails of the crib and although it's a bit time consuming, it does make it easier to was them since you can individually take them off. They machine wash on cold and tumble dry on low which is awesome! We all know babies can be messy!

I love the soft minky and the ease of use of this set is pretty awesome! Can't wait to use it for the next couple years and get plenty of use out of it!
