Schmidt's Deodorant Review & Giveaway!

I received a sample from Schmidt's for the sole purpose of this review

Have you ever investigated what's in your deodorant? It's full of lots of items that are harmful to us and the environment. The main ingredient being aluminum. It has been linked to a lot of breast cancer diagnosis'. A lot of breast cancer develops under your arm pit and it's been investigated and found that aluminum could be the main culprit.

So with wanting to find a more natural deodorant for myself, I came across Schmidt's. They are dedicated to provide a healthy and natural deodorant.
I received 2 full size and then samples in their other 3 scents.

I have tried quite a few natural deodorants over the years and none I've found have worked well. Including some very popular brands. They make me sweat more, stain my clothes or just don't cover the smell like they should. So I was excited to try out Schmidt's and I'm so glad I contacted them!

I got 2 full size deodorants in the Bergamot + Lime and the Lavender + Sage. And then samples in Fragrance Free, Cedarwood + Juniper and Ylang Ylang + Calendula.

I'm so glad I chose the 2 I did as the full size. They smell wonderful. The bergamot and lime just smells like lime really and it's a nice clean scent. The Lavender and Sage just smells yummy. Nice and calming, but still a typical scent for deodorant, it's not overpowering at all.

I'm not a huge fan of the other 2. But my husband has been using them (they are more manly scents and woody smelling). The frgrance free is good though!

The full size tubs come with a little applicator inside. The deodorant is hard, but you scoop out a tiny bit, rub it on your finger/s and then just rub it on. It starts to dissolve easily and rubs right in the way it should.
The deodorant scent is long lasting (all day) and I haven't had any issues with it not covering up that sweaty smell at all. Even on hard working days it has covered up the scent nicely.

Now it's not an antiperspirant, so you will still sweat, but you'll smell good :)

My husband uses his on the weekends when he's more relaxed at home, and then uses regular deodorant with antiperspirant during the week.
I will continue to use my Schmidt's since it works well and is natural so I don't have to worry about putting chemicals on my skin.

The ingredients in Schmidt's are some like Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Baking Soda, Arrowroot Powder, Vitamin E and then essential oils.

Price: 2oz tub is $8 and I think would easily last a couple months. It depends on how often you use it/put it on.

Overall: *****
*Disclaimer* I received an item directly from  Schmidt's in exchange for a review. I was not paid to try out these products*
A big thank you goes out to  Schmidt's for allowing me to review this product and for offering a giveaway
