Zipit Bedding Review

This is really the coolest thing since sliced bread. REALLY!!!
I'm talking about the new zipit bedding. This is AWESOME!

It's children's bedding in either Twin or Full size and it's a pillowcase and the fitted sheet and comforter are ATTACHED! YES they are. They zip together which allows children to easily make their bed!
SPECIAL DISCOUNT: For a limited time, my readers can get Zipit Bedding at a special DISCOUNT PRICE of only $39.99! That's $20 off the already discounted web price. For only $39.99, you can experience this great new product. Don't miss this opportunity! Click HERE to order ( and use this code at checkout to receive your discount: HEATHER10.
Oh yes, it really is this cool! You can see the fitted sheet there and the pink is the comforter!
 It's this easy!
There are 2 zippered pockets on each side of the bedding!!!!
It just easily zips up!! The fitted sheet is on the bed and the comforter zips to the sheet.
 All snuggled and 'FAKE' sleeping!
If you just need to wash the sheet or the comforter, they completely detach from each other. So it's super easy to do that.

Avery loves to make her bed with this. She just unzips one side at night and gets in. And then in the morning she just zips it back up. She was terrible about her top sheet and comforter being sideways on her bed because she kicked them off. Well the comforter was too heavy for her to move by herself. So this is the perfect solution.

AND this bedding is cheaper than the big expensive set from Kohl's! I think we paid $90 for her set from Kohl's.
This bedding is normally $99.99 But it's on sale for $59.99 and with this code HEATHER10 you can get it for just $39.99!!!
They also have it in Navy

I wish they would come out with more designs! These are okay, but I want cuter stuff with better images!!

Overall: *****

5 months old today!

Crazy how fast the time goes. He's 5 months old and ALMOST crawling already!

 Love this one!
 Happy Memorial Day!!!!
He is just about 15 pounds and roughly 26" long!!! Big boy

Here is one of him eating avocados the other day!
And a video of him trying to crawl just taken this afternoon. He is growing up quick!!!
We just now finally bought him a crib. It will be here by week's end. So just yesterday I put him in his own room to try it out. He took a 1.5 hour long nap in there in his bassinet part of his playpen. Then he went to bed at 9:45. He was up at 1:45 and then again at 6:10. Then finally woke up at 8:30!! So he did really good. I was surprised. That room is right up next to the street and the sun comes in, in the morning. It's way different than our room. And when he was in our room after that 6 feeding he wouldn't sleep in the playpen anymore, he would only sleep if he was in bed with me. So I'm already seeing a difference. And he was usually waking once at night around 5:30-6 when Jon's alarm would go off. I'm thinking that with him in his own room maybe that feeding will get cut out completely. Right now he's waking out of habit. So we'll see if that changes.

Today he's taken one 1.5 hour nap and right now has been sleeping for 2 hours in there!!! YAY! Hopefully we're on a good sleep schedule again!

Idylle Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Good quality clothing is a must. We have learned this for sure. The more you spend on something, the longer it lasts. Therefore in the long run you save more money!
I received a wonderful top from Idylle. I got the Suzani Circle top!

Online the outer circle is black, I like them both though really!

This shirt is wide, but it's the style of it. I got the small and it really fits me pretty good. I wear a tank top under it because it's low cut and also because the arm pits are low as well. It's really a great quality shirt. It washes up just fine and doesn't peel.

So far so good with this top. I haven't gotten any compliments on it yet, but I love it and that's what matters. It's so comfortable, the cotton is really soft.

The best part is it's made in the USA!!! You don't see much of that these days!

They have some other really wonderful items.

Besides the tees they have long sleeves, hoodies, tanks, thermals and accessories
Use coupon code JUSTIDYLLE  for 20% off!

Price: The shirt I received is $64. They are a bit pricey, but again quality means the world! You really do get what you pay for and you'll probably get years out of this one shirt!

Overall: ***** Love it!!

BFTE Cosmetics Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

I love makeup. I have an entire drawer storage tower FULL of makeup products. I have one drawer for eye shadow, one for face products, one for nail and one for unopened products. That drawer is the fullest unfortunately!!!

I was very fortunate to receive some wonderful eye shadows from BFTE Cosmetics. I received a Get The Look Mini Collection in Two Faced Duo Tones. I also got a sample
The Mini Collection came in it's own little container. One of them was open, but luckily it was sealed with a plastic sealer.
The 3 colors. From left to right
Beautiful- Gold that Shifts to pink
Riddle- Golden Bronze that shifts to green with hints of red
Dew Drop- Pinkish purple that shifts to greenish gold
And a sample of Elegant which is a clean clear sky blue!
I've never been good at getting those beautiful looks on the eyes. I'm a 1-2 color person. I still haven't been able to pull it off well, I don't know if I'm using the wrong brushes or what. But I love all these colors and they're all gorgeous even on their own.
Here is what the collection looks like on (not me obviously)
So pretty!
My second choice was Bring On The Berries
I love lime green!!!
I love these mini collections, for those that can do eyes like this it's perfect!
The eye shadows glide on smoothly, they are very nicely pigmented. They go on nice and colorful the first time. No need for a second or third layer, although they do layer on nicely!

BFTE stands for Beauty From the Earth! It's a gorgeous name! They have over 400 colors of eye shadow! You'll never be bored with your eyes again, that's for sure!!
I'd love to try out Meteor Shower

Pretty nice stuff, They also have primer, eye liner, Foundation, Mineral Veil, and highlighters!

Price: The Mini Collection is $18. Full size eye shadows are $6.50 normally.

Overall: *****

Shake, Rattle & Roll Sponsor Spotlight MINI TOES

Little Baby's don't necessarily need shoes, but they're so dang cute on them. So I contacted Mini Toes about a review for this event.
I was very thankful she agreed, because I had fallen in love with the White with Lime Green Running Shoes for Emerson

Elastic at top of foot to hold shoe on!

They are so cute! I got the 0-6 month and they fit Emerson well. A tad bit big, but that's good! I wanted them to last.
Since it's been HOT here we haven't really been wearing these lately, but if it's in the lower 70s he wears these shoes. They're perfect for summer since they're white, but are super adorable!!!!

They are constructed really well. Handmade right in Canada! The upper is leather and the sole is suede. The suede is slightly grippy so baby's won't fall very easily! The suede is also breathable, so this isn't a very constricting shoe.

She has some other wonderful shoes!

Shoes are from sizes 0-6 month to 18-24 month!

Price: Each shoe is $35! This is reasonable, they are handmade and I'm sure have a great resale value if kept in good condition!

Overall: *****

For Shake, Rattle & Roll, Mini Toes is offering one Mommy's Favorite Things reader the chance to win the pair of choice! ARV $35!!!

Giveaway starts TOMORROW at 12:01am EST!!! Look for it!

Shake, Rattle & Roll Sponsor Spotlight BABY BABU

This is a BRAND new company! They just released earlier this year. I'm taking about the becoming popular Baby Babu. They are a cloth diaper company and have wonderful items.

I received the Back in Black diaper. This is our first black diaper so I was super excited to get it.
I received the diaper PLUS an additional bamboo insert!
 LOVE the black!!!!
 Smallest setting
 Medium setting
 Largest setting
Inside, with the microfiber insert that was included
The microfiber insert snaps inside the pocket
LOVE the double gusset!!! And it has a sleeve pocket, so there's 2 openings.
It came with 2 microfiber and the bamboo they sent me
 It's a good fit!!!
 PERFECT fit actually
 So handsome in black!
I asked him to include the Bamboo insert because Microfiber can get stinky. I'm so glad he did. I usually stuff the pocket with a microfiber and a bamboo. The bamboo is a lot thinner than the microfiber, but it's so much more absorbent!

Over night we usually use a fitted with a cover for better protection. A boy belly sleeper causes lots of leaks out the front. But with the microfiber AND bamboo insert, Emerson doesn't leak at all. Usually I change his diaper after about 8 hours at night, but I put this one to the test, I used it the full 11 hours and he STILL didn't leak. It was definitely saturated, but not enough to leak!! I was so happy about that.

This diaper really is no different than the Alva baby's and GoGreens. It's basically the same diaper, but it's a good diaper and I love it. I have a few of these diapers (different brands) in my stash and I love them all. They're all slightly different, but all perform the same.

I don't like that there aren't any crossover snaps. Obviously we don't need them but since Emerson is 14.5 pounds and is only one snap away from being the tightest, I know an 8-9 pound baby would need the crossovers. Especially considering Emerson's belly is skinny.

I do love the diaper though and it comes at a great price of $11.99. All of their diapers are just $11.99!!!

They have some other adorable ones too!

They also have diaper covers in solid colors, Which are also $11.99

Overall: ***** Love the diaper and it holds everything in well!

For the Shake, Rattle & Roll event, Baby Babu has offered one Mommy's Favorite Things the chance to win a Diaper in gender of Choice!
Look for the giveaway Starting Tuesday, May 22nd!
