Wearable Art Review & Giveaway

We love customized clothing, but these put a new spin on things. We received a shirt from Wearable Art  and couldn't be happier with it. We got the Peace shirt in an XS (2-4) It fits her great, but I would say it's a size 4, more so than a 2-4. So remember that!

It comes with fabric pastel dye sticks. Almost like crayons, but softer and easier to color with. Avery was a little young for this project. It is hard to color onto cotton, so I had to stretch the tee with one hand and color with the other. I would say a child under about 8(?) wouldn't be able to do it.

Here is the after. I left a couple flowers white like Daisies!

When you're done coloring you put paper on top of the art and iron over it. It sets the dyes and makes the shirt washable. How neat is that! So we did and washed it and it turned out perfect, Didn't fade or anything.

I am guessing that if you mess up you could just wash it to wash it clean and start over again... Then seal it all in. All in All it was fun, but not quite a 3 yr old craft. So mommy did it for her, but she likes her shirt. It's very colorful and that's what we like.

They have 14 different prints including one Halloween, one Christmas, and one 4th of July. The rest are for boys and girls and they are about an even amount.  About 3 girls and 6 boys and 2 that are unisex. Then again if you want your son to wear a shirt like we got or your daughter to wear a train then they are all unisex (except Birthday Boy)

Price: Each shirt is $17.99. This is so worth it. How great is it that your child can color their own shirt and wear it ass often as they wish and show off their artwork. It is worth it

Overall: **** I thought the coloring was difficult as you had to stretch the material with one hand, while keeping the cardboard under it, while coloring. But with adult assistance can be done.
