I received a vehicle for 1 week to do a test drive. All opinions are 100% my own
Cadillac has always been known as the luxury car company. Manufactured by GM (one of the big 3), they are reliable, luxurious and drop dead gorgeous. So when I was contacted to try out the new 2015 Escalade, I couldn't help but scream yes and jump for joy!
The 2015 Escalade has pretty decent gas mileage for such a large vehicle. 14/20 is what it gets and that's about the same as some crossovers so I was pretty impressed with it.
The 2015 Cadillac Escalade has some gorgeous features. From the time you first see the vehicle, to opening the door and then exiting the vehicle you will be blown away by the features and the sleekness of it all.
I truly wasn't able to capture it all very well with my camera. The sun was out and was reflecting a lot
Steering Wheel mounted controls make life easy. With volume, channel control, cruise control, phone connect and more right at your fingertips, it keeps your eyes closer to the road and things easy to navigate without even looking away.
The center dash was so sleek looking. It was very reflective and just had a really nice look to it. Everything was touch which made it super easy to use. The screen even sensed your finger was coming and would pull up more options for you to touch when your finger was near. It was pretty cool.
Buttons on the center dash for pedal movement, glove box and more.
Very large sunroof
The 2015 Cadillac Escalade seats 7. Two in the front, two in the middle and three in the rear makes this a very large and accommodating SUV.
The middle has bucket (or captain) seats making entry to the 3rd row very easy. The third row also sits up a bit higher to make it even more accessible and easy to see the front of the vehicle better.
So much leg room in the middle row!
The seats in the middle row fold down completely, but then they even go one step further...
and flip forward!!! VERY easy access to the 3rd row!
Fairly large 'trunk' space even with the 3rd row up and in place.
And this even opens up for more storage
Decent amount of room in the 3rd row with the middle row all the way back!
The 3rd row folds back up with the push of a button, but the second row needs to be put back up manually.
Here are both rows folded flat.
And in case you still need more storage room on the floor, you can also put the middle row up with the buttons as well. It creates more floor space.
Another feature I really loved was the running boards. When the doors were closed the boards went in...
and as soon as the door opened, the board came out for easy access into the car.
The 2015 Cadillac Escalade has so many features and I won't even be able to touch half of them right now. But let's start!
Features like Heated and Cooled front seats and heated 2nd row really come in handy in the cold cold winter and the hottest of summer.
Head up display that puts your speed, the temperature and what channel you're listening too right on the windshield, so there's no reason to ever take your eyes off the road.
Safety Alert Seats that vibrate when there is a hazard. When you go over a line in the road that side of the seat vibrates. When a car is near you it vibrates.
A hidden rear wiper
And so so much more! The 2015 Cadillac Escalade really has it all. It is a huge SUV packed with features and is so luxurious you will be the envy of all your friends!
Want one? Base price for the ESV is $71,695. The one I received came in really close to $86,000. Yes I know this is pricey. I, for one, personally don't think it's worth THAT much. It has some wonderful features, is gorgeous and large and in charge. But I don't think it's worth that much! That's a personal preference though.
I would recommend this to a friend though. It is a wonderful vehicle with a lot of high end safety features and that is what's really important!
*Disclaimer, I received a Cadillac Escalade for a 1 week test drive. All opinions here are 100% my own and I was not compensated to write this post, other than receiving the vehicle
