The Nested Bean is a wonderful company with items tailored to helping baby sleep. They specialize in Zen Sacks and Zen Swaddles which have lightly weighted pouches that mimic your touch.

Abel has been a horrible sleeper since the newborn stage wore off. He had colic until he turned 4 months, and had to be held constantly. The Zen Sack showed up about a month ago.

This sleep sack is great! It mimics a caregiver's hand on the baby's chest with a plush pouch of pellets with a cute chick design. The weight is calculated by the baby's weight range so make sure you get the correct size. At 17lbs last month we chose the 6-12m size and it's a great fit. I put it on him and he took his first 30 minute nap without being held! Small sounds still wake him easily, but I'm not stuck holding him all day, as much as I love the cuddling. (Dishes.. laundry..ugg)

The Zen Line up has adorable patterns and solids. We got the friendly fox premier Zen Sack, and I'm totally in love with the 70% bamboo + 30% cotton blend fabric. It's super cuddly and I love rocking him in it during midnight feedings. The zipper access on the bottom is amazing as well, I can easily access his diaper and owlet sock without any Velcro sounds or fumbling. The zipper is smooth and has a snap to keep it out of baby's hands. The Zen Sack is machine washable and washes up great, and still looks new. I totally want matching pajamas... Mommy and Me sets should totally be a thing!

If you have a tummy sleeper, no problem! Once baby is consistently rolling to their tummy (on their own) to sleep you can place the Zen Sack with the weighted chick on their back. Always follow the ABCs of safe sleep and keep yourself updated on current safe sleep recommendations.

    I would love the Zen classic in Stardust blue. I have the Zen swaddler in blue and my 3 week old baby boy sleeps soooooo much better! He wouldn't sleep at night for the first 4 nights home. Once we purchased the Zen swaddler he now sleeps 3 hrs straight and only wakes every 3 hours to feed and be changed. After trying for over 10 years God allowed me to become pregnant with our little miracle man so we make sure we do whatever we can to make sure he's taken care of. The Zen Swaddler is heaven sent, especially to an exhausted first time Mommy!!! Thanks so much!!!
