I received a sample from Curvy Kate for the sole purpose of this review

Curvy Kate is what it sounds like, Lingerie for curvier girls. From size D-K cup. Although I'm not super curvy at a size 4/6 in womens. I AM a 34DD cup, so finding a company with lingerie meant for my size is awesome. 6 months ago I was a 32DD and couldn't find a single bra in a department store (except the ever expensive Nordstrom, where I bought one bra for over $80), so I was elated when I was measured recently at a 34, that meant now I could buy bras. But bras at those sizes in stores aren't very attractive. They are like tents. So when I found Curvy Kate I was elated and couldn't wait to try one!

I got the try the Portia Fuschia set and they are SO beautiful!!

I received the Bra in a 34DD and the bottoms in a size S or 10 in UK sizing. Although I thought I'd be a M/12 and told her 12, she sent me the 10 and they are PERFECT!

 The bra only has 2 clasps which I LOVE!!! I hate trying on a bra in my size with 3-4 because it's so daunting and takes forever.

The bra itself is simple with no padding, but it's so elegant. It's more fit for actual lingerie instead of a standard bra, but for special occasions or "special occasions" it's perfect! This bra is underwire and the ribbon that runs through it is just gorgeous.

Now this was unique. When I first sent an email, Chantelle mentioned their new campaign called "The Bra Whisperer". She offers women the chance to be virtually fitted by her just by sending a picture and your current bra and bottom size.

So I got tricky, sent her pics in my bikini which I already had (from my weight loss/exercise journey) and told her I was a Small/Medium or US 6 in pants and told her to guess. I didn't tell her my current bra size. She guessed me to be a 30FF, BUT when you do the conversion and add 2 sizes to the back strap and take away 2 sizes from the cup (that's how a conversion works) that would leave me at a US 34DDD, so really she was pretty dead on and that's WITHOUT me telling her my current bra size!

I was fitted at Nordstrom as a 34DD, although I DO measure a 30" under my bust so she was DEAD ON but 32s are way too tight on me so a 34 is my correct size. 

I was happy I went with my standard 34DD for the bra above, because it truly fits me perfect.

Price: The bra is about $42 US and the Shorts are about $21.50. 

Overall: ***** I was incredibly impressed with "The Bra Whisperer" and how the bra fits me, despite having no padding or anything special there.
