Weekend Getaway at Castaway Bay with a Giveaway #castawaybay #vacation

Castaway Bay in Sandusky Ohio invited us for a 1 night stay in exchange for this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

A couple weekends ago we had the chance to have a mini family getaway. We headed the 2.5 hours away to Castaway Bay in Sandusky Ohio. It was so nice to get away, even if only for the night.

Upon arrival I realized just how gorgeous this resort was. Although a bit outdated, it had some really nice features. Like a fireplace in the lobby, a nice huge ship in the lobby and some other small touches like a beachy mural on the wall and murals on the elevator doors as well. 

A very nice beachy/getaway theme all throughout the resort. 

Then we arrived at our room, the Tarpon  room, which features a King Bed, a separate room with 2 bunk beds, a tv, mini fridge, microwave, GORGEOUS balcony/patio view of the lake/pond and a full bathroom.

Immediately after dropping off our luggage we made the trek down to the waterpark (with 3 kids, everything is a trek these days)

The waterpark has a ton of nice features like a water roller coaster, 3+ water slides, a wave pool and so much more! There is a nice little kiddie area as well as a snack bar if you get hungry too!

The Tarpon Suite is $299 a night for a bayview. $351 if you include the breakfast package (for our family of 5)

It's really the perfect price for a weekend getaway.
