Clothing for Every Body, I love that!! What a great slogan. And I've found that to be true of Lilac Clothing. I received the Cropped Jean. I wasn't sure on sizing since I'm in between, but it said size down if you're in between. So I went with the XS. Normally this scares me since I'm a 4/6, which is usually a small/medium. But I trusted the site and I'm SO glad I did.
Now on the website it said that there was an attached panel at the waistband that is good for modesty or maternity. I wasn't expecting to get a jean that really, truly looked like maternity pants. It kind of surprised me. But overall it's not bad! I personally fold that panel over as I don't like panels on my stomach, even when I was pregnant.
They also feature an internal adjustable waistband (just like kids pants have) which means they will fit everyone and will help fix the gapping that happens with a lot of denim. This is perfect for someone who's planning on losing a lot of weight!
Mine are all the way opened and the denim is still a tad tight. I really should've gotten the small, but overall they fit me, and I'm planning on losing about 10 more pounds, so then they'll fit perfect!
I also like that if I were to get pregnant again, they'd last through the pregnancy.
Lilac has so many wonderful items!

ReplyDeleteI love that they have the adjustable waistband! My problem with jeans is the waist is always too big and they gap at the back (I have big hips and a big butt! LOL).

ReplyDeleteI Love these Cropped Lilac Jeans; I Liked Everything on their Website! I Love that they Look Comfortable but Still Very Stylish & Chic Too! I also like how you can Dress them up or Dress them down; You Can Wear them with Heels or Flats! I Hate Wearing Shorts b/c I am Very Fair Skin so I do not Showing that Much of My Legs but I Absolutely Love the Cropped Capri Style! It is a Nice Change from just Plain Blue Jeans & they are Much Cooler for the Hot Weather Lately! I Saw Many things I Loved on their Site, especially the Bella Top in Merlot Stripes & the Boyfriend Jeans! I Really Hope I Have an Opportunity to Try Out these Jeans for Myself! ReplyDeleteThese look hot!!! I'd love a pair, but I'm like you are, a Size 4-6, and I also would be verrrry hesitant to order a "XS" as suggested by the website????? Hmmm.... Maybe there's measurements listed that could help w/sizing issues... :)
