UV Skinz Review & Giveaway

I received a sample from UV Skinz for the sole purpose of this review

I won't allow my children outside for a long period of time without UV protective clothing on. The sun is a dangerous, dangerous thing and I want my babies skin protected. I have 3 children now and sometimes I don't always remember sunscreen. To have their torsos protected is a good step in the right direction. 

I've used UV Skinz in the past and have loved their items. So I was excited to try some new stuff out this year. 

I got a Butterfly/Flower set for my daughter with the hat. And I got the infant Blue Sail Away one piece set with matching hat.

Also May is Skin Cancer Awareness month so they sent me a free shirt to give away to a friend. (They were including one with every order in May)

and I got this keychain that detects the UV power. A great tool to have on hand.

We got the size 8 for my daughter (she's a 7/8 right now) and the 6-12m for my little one. We got a 12m tee that I will give to someone who fits that size. 

I love UV Skinz. They fit perfectly, right in their age range. They are chlorine and salt water resistant so the material won't break down over time. UPF 50 protection, neck coverage, relaxed fit, Machine Washable (but line dry only). They have a lot of great qualities and that makes them the perfect protection for us!

Did you know that cotton tees only have a UPF of 5??? That means you can get sunburnt right through your clothing! With a UPF of 50, UV Skinz doesn't allow that at all and you'll be good and protected!

I love that their baby sets are full length, but still plenty breathable so baby won't get hot. 

UV Skinz offers short sleeves, long sleeve, different kinds of bottoms, hats, sunscreen and adult items as well!
