2014 Audi Q5 TDI

Are you in the market for a nice Crossover that also offers the versatility of Diesel? The 2014 Audi Q5 might be right for you. Utility meets elegance with this gorgeous vehicle.

The 2014 Audi Q5 seats 5 passengers and has a very roomy trunk area making it the perfect family vehicle for any endeavor you accomplish.

The 2014 Audi Q5 TDI has some wonderful features that any family can appreciate. Not only is the vehicle absolutely beautiful and has a very appealing appearance. It also has plenty of advanced technologies such as the Audi Drive Connect and Audi Connect with Wi-Fi hotspot.

The Audi Connect with Google Earth provides weather, news, local search and a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 8 passenger devices. The Audi Drive Select lets you personalize the driving experience.

The stereo screen was very sleek.
But it was a bit strange that the controls were down next to you near the gear shifter

Although diesel can be more expensive in the winter, the 2014 Audi Q5 averages 27mpg and so when diesel is cheaper in the summer it all evens out. Getting that MPG for a crossover is VERY good. It's hard to find that on a larger vehicle. The Audi Q5 gets 24/31 as its claim.

Unfortunately we only had this vehicle for a weekend so didn't have much time to really test it out.
But I still have a few favorite features.
The push start is always a favorite, it's a very easy way to start your vehicle.
I also loved the panoramic sunroof
It had a button to pull back the shade and then another button to open it. It was really easy to maneuver

I also really loved the control of this vehicle. It was probably the smoothest ride of any vehicle I've ever driven. It features what they call the Audi quattro. It is All Wheel Drive, backed by Electronic Stability Control with off road mode. So it helps you be able to better control based on the conditions. Rain, Snow or Gravel!

The back seat was very roomy and had a beautiful design as well.
Plenty of leg room

The trunk space was large enough on it's own and it had a spoiler that was connected to the trunk door itself
So it picked up out of the way when the hatch opened. A nice feature.
With the seats down and folded flat. Plenty of storage and traveling space

Although you can lower down the 2nd row seats from the 2nd row with a lever on the seats, there is also a button right in the trunk that makes it really easy. Just pull it and the corresponding seats folds down automatically.

It also had the saved seat settings which comes in handy when there's multiple drivers in the house.

The Audi Q5 has heated, 8 way power front seats with 4 way lumbar driver seat. A must in comfort.
Also has a 4 year, 50,000 mile warranty. And a 12 year limited warranty against corrosion.

I really wish the Audi Q5 came with remote start though. We've been having negative temperatures and that's a must.

The 2014 Audi Q5 that I test drove starts at $46,500 and this model came in at $55,445. Although a bit pricey, the features are amazing and worth it.

I would recommend the Audi to anyone!

*Disclaimer, I received an Audi Q5  for a weekend test drive. All opinions here are 100% my own and I was not compensated to write this post, other than receiving the vehicle.

  1. That's really nice. The stereo controls down by the shifter is really dangerous since you'd have to look down to change a station. Other than that I like it :)

  3. What a beautiful vehicle! I didn't realize that the Audi seated 5 people. As a new family of 5, this is a vehicle that I would definitely consider once my kids are little bit older and out of car seats.

  10. way out of my price range, but a beautiful car. The heated seats would have been nice to have this winter :)

  11. Neat! I'm intrigued by the hotspot! We'll probably be looking for an suv for our next vehicle, though.

  12. I love Audi. They are one of the best auto makers out there. They are so reliable and SAFE. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles you could ask for in todays media connected world. I looks amazing. Very family friendly since it has all that space! Audi is one of the car brands I am looking into when I purchase my next vehicle for sure!

  17. Call me a crunchy Californian, but I'm never going to get a diesel. I know they are "clean" now, but with all that after treatment technology they are horribly expensive and complicated vehicles.

  41. I love the Sunroof and the push start on this car! It also has a roomy back seat and has tons of room for me to put all of my stuff. It uses diesel gas which would get me used to remembering. Otherwise it is a very nice car for traveling!

  42. Wow that is very spacious looking. I love that it has a sun/moon roof. I'm not a big fan of of the high tech in it though. I prefer simple tech in my car don't need a push start engine. still a very nice car though.

  46. I LOVE how big it gets with the seats down & everything!
That's one problem I seem to always run into is that if I need to go get something & it doesn't fit in the car, then we're screwed and have to pay someone to go pick it up for us.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I really love the sunroof. This is nice !

    ReplyDelete
  48. Nice car. Audi is a good brand of vehicle and withstands the test of time. The technology in the new vehicles today are out of this world.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Love the wi fi feature and the all the storage room especially. I wish it was a 7 passenger instead of only 5 though because even though our 5 kids are young adults on their own, we still make sure we have a vehicle that can take all of us places because we like to get together and go fun places or out to eat or even on road trips together so need those extra passenger seats for that reason. But other than that it looks like a very nice vehicle. Thanks for sharing. Love all the pics, I am a very visual person so I like reviews with lots of pics. : )

    ReplyDelete
  63. I really like this Audi because it is so roomy and it would be great to travel longs distances in. I wish it had a remote to start too, and this is a good car to drive in snowy weather. I would have to get used to driving this car with diesel gas. I would not want to put regular gas in it! But, I like this car!

  64. My husband and I have been researching cars lately and Audi is our top pick. They look great and the gas mileage is amazing!!

Thanks for all the info!!!
