My son is almost 2 and this is the only show that he will sit and watch the whole thing. He doesn't like any other TV unless Jake is on! He dances to the opening song and just loves watching the whole show. I'm thankful we have On Demand because we use it a lot!
When I saw that they released a Jake movie called Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Never Land Rescue, I knew I had to get it for him. It's a full length movie and although my son won't sit through the whole thing, he loves it just as much as he loves the TV show.
The DVD is 5 full length episodes. Jake's Never Land Rescue, It's a Pirate Picnic/The Key to Skull Rock, The Golden Twilight Treasure/ Rock the Croc, Jake and the Sneaky LeBeak/Cubby the Brave, Jake's Special Delivery/Seahorse Saddle-Up.
All Episodes are wonderful and even though they have all aired on TV at one point or another, it is great to have them all in one place to keep your toddler/child entertained. This would also be great for in the car on longer trips.
Overall my son loves this show and now this movie with lots of fun filled Jake. The total time for the movie is 2 hours and 28 minutes, so it's just long enough for most kids to want to sit through it and give you a slight break too :)
