Cozywoggle Review & Giveaway

I received a sample for the sole purpose of this review
Did you know that you're not supposed to use jackets in your children's car seats? They can compress if you were to get in an accident and baby can go flying out of the car seat. It may seem like the straps are tight enough, but that jacket can REALLY compress leaving a huge gap between your child and the straps.

In the past, my kids have used a car seat poncho, no sleeves or anything, just a blanket basically that has a hood. It's easy to throw the back over the back of the car seat and strap in baby under the front of the poncho so there's nothing in between child and the straps. Although I loved using the ponchos, I came across the Cozywoggle and knew I wanted to try it.

The Cozywoggle is unlike any other car seat jacket in the sense that it looks like a regular coat. It's great for playing in the snow and letting your child have their freedom when not in the car. But when you DO get in the car, it's easy to transform into a car seat safe coat.

We received the Navy in a 2T for Emerson.

The hood zips off.
This is where the unique-ness of this jacket comes in. It has full zippers on both sides...
Then the back picks up, put your child in their seat and buckle them in without anything between your child and the straps of the car seat.

I have been loving this jacket. It's no harder to use than the poncho and it's nice to have a convertible jacket that he can wear at any time, playing, walking at the outdoor mall, or sitting in the car seat.

Her jackets do tend to run a bit big, Emerson is between an 18m and 2T comfortably now, but I got the 2t since we'll use this at least through March and most likely through April. It is a bit big, but since it doesn't go under the car seat straps, it really doesn't matter. We might even get a 2nd year out of it!!!

This jacket really looks like any other coat. It's a nice warm jacket that is perfect for the winter. It has fleece on the inside. I just love the versatility of this jacket!! It's super easy to transition from inside the car to outside.

I still have his poncho and I still like it, but I like this for the colder days since his poncho is just fleece.

It comes in 4 colors, Navy, Pink, Red and Purple. And comes in sizes 12 months- size 6. I wish they had it smaller for newborns and young infants!

Price: $74.99 each

Overall: *****
*Disclaimer* I received an item directly from Cozywoggle in exchange for a review. I was not paid to try out these products*
A big thank you goes out to Cozywoggle for allowing me to review this product and for offering a giveaway

  13. Been following Cozywoggle for a while now and one of the things I have learned from her posts is that as many as 1 in 3 car seats are installed incorrectly. It is incredible to see that a mom found a problem and decided to make a solution. Then for her to share it with the world is GREAT!
