Green Giant Vegetables Review & Giveaway

I received a sample from My Blog Spark for the sole purpose of this review

Most people are familiar with the name Green Giant, it's a staple in a lot of households for vegetables. They make canned vegetables and frozen vegetables, but recently I had the chance to try some out and they also offer frozen vegetables in sauces as well, which before I went to the store, I didn't know.

They sent me this wonderful prize pack
 Which included a duffel bag, health & Fitness journal, water bottle, free product coupons and a $10 Target Gift Card
 5 free coupons to try out Green Giant!

I headed to the store with my coupons in hand and picked up my 5 free veggies. 
When I got there is when I realized they had some in sauces. That was new to me and it was a nice way to spruce up some vegetables. 



If you notice by looking at the boxes, they are all Weight Watchers approved with 1-2 points each serving and are only 60 calories per serving. EVEN with the sauces that come on them!

These were all so yummy. I haven't tried the Garden Vegetable Medley yet, but that will be paired with our chicken tonight. 
The Broccoli & Cheese Sauce was very tasty. It even got Emerson to eat some vegetables, which NEVER happens. The Corn and Brussels Sprouts were also yummy in their butter sauces. 

These are the perfect pairing to your main dishes for dinner and are super easy to make by steaming them in the microwave. You just poke holes in the plastic baggy, place on a plate and heat in the microwave for about 5 minutes each and they're done. It is that easy and you have a nice healthy side dish (or 2) to go along with dinner. 

They have 27 varieties under 100 calories as well.

Price: These were $1.99 in my store. Which is a great cheap side dish for your meal.
